Well, I figure since Season 2 is officially over, I'd start up the Season 3 spoiler thread. Feel free to post Season 3 info here, so we can keep it organized.
Here's the first tidbit of news I've been able to find, from this week's Ask Ausiello:
Quote:
Question: I'm dying for some juicy Heroes scoop! — Stacie
Ausiello: Well, this is about as juicy as it comes: Kristen Bell is not — I repeat, not — signed on for next season. But (and this is a big "but," so listen up) sources confirm that Heroes is in active discussions with her to return for an arc during Season 3. And considering how much everyone at the show worships her — and she them — I have every reason to believe that this will happen.
I find it odd, considering how she saved Mo and Co. from Sylar in Powerless. So she's just going to drop off the radar until some undisclosed point in the next season? Hmm..
Oh, and a little production note:

Question: I have a Heroes question: Are they going back to work on new episodes in the spring, even if they will not air until the fall? Is that how NBC is able to order more than 22 for next season? — Pat
Ausiello: Nothing gets by you, Pat. Yes, Heroes is tentatively slated to start production on Season 3 on May 1 — more than two months ahead of schedule. As a result, the show could have as many as 10-13 episodes already in the can by the time it returns in September.
Paul in Philadelphia: File this under "This can't be happening, can it?!" Your frenemy Ausiello reported Wednesday that Kristen Bell is still not signed on for season three of Heroes? Whiskey-tango-foxtrot (wtf) is Tim Kring waiting for? Thanks.
I have it on good authority that Elle is very much a part of the writers' grand plan for season three. (Fear not: Kring loves her just as much as we do!) So, if there is a holdup, I assure you it is more on the business (rather than creative) side of things, and there is still time to get this worked out before they go back into production. Oh, and by the by, we might not see much of Claire-bear in the first episode or two. Hayden P told us at her Candies soiree that production is "gearing up in April and I’ll be joining them in May when I come back from shooting I Love You, Beth Cooper in Vancouver."
Well, there's also the chance, like with most syndicated shows, that if they can't get Kristin Bell back we'll see a new actor for Elle.
Kind of like how Missy Peregrym didn't come back for the first few episodes of Season 2, and a different actress played Candice for those few short episodes until her death early on in Season 2.
I know, Elle was getting under my skin as well, and Kristin was doing a good job of playing a psychopath. She nearly is as good at it as Zach is at Sylar, to be honest.
Hmm.. Maybe there'll be something more to this story while we wait with baited breath over some juicy news on episodes already filmed in May, June or July!!
Guys not sure if you know much about this but... The 10th Wonder Podcast's last episode has the guys interview two of the Heroes writers. It looks like shooting will begin on May 1st and at Comic Con, they show may air the opening episode or at least the opening teaser, in which we will discover Nathan's killer.
Oh and on an unrelated note, the SCORE will be on the Heroes soundtrack!

And one more thing... (this is what I typed at Television Without Pity, thought you guys would like to know...)
Well it seems we will find out in some teaser trailer (who Nathan's killer is.) The writers have felt very eager to get the show out to the fans again. They loved how the Pilot was aired at a Con, so they would love to do that again with either the teaser trailer or the Volume's premiere episode! But they aren't going to keep the shooter a secret for too long, if at all.
And for those who want to know or care, in one of the alternate endings for Volume 2, Peter did not catch virus in time. Eh, I'm happy they have seen their faults with this season and are moving on completely. Though they did say that whilst they have changed a lot up with the new Volume, they have kept some of what was planned for episodes 12, 13 and 14. It may be done a tad differently now that they are over hauling a lot, but a lot is essentially the same means, just done with a slight change of course.
Oh and in their first meeting as writers, Kring went and discussed the characters and where their journeys would go from here. He apparently made a conscious effort to look at the characters. Very wise move Tim, very wise indeed!
I think the new graphic novel about Ryan Covington is really about Byron Bevington. Maybe the writers decided to change his name?
Ryan Covington - Dreams of his past and his death
Byron Bevington
UAY + GCA = ?

However, i wonder if his mom is Adam's love interest called Teresa? She died in a car accident . Since he was actually in love with her, he could Adam's third child. I know he does not want kids after he conceived two[see Milan, Italy], but he does have a clover around his neck.Perhaps, the clover around his neck is a clue.
However, Teresa could be residing in Shreveport, LA with her grandchildren lol.
Still, i wonder who is the person he lost. The reference of she indicates a female, but i am not sure if it is a female relative or a female companion.
I hope the 'sickest storyline' is that she digs up Adam. She knows little of his past... what if she digs him up, under the pretense that the Company had taken another innocent victim (like she was and like so many after her became.)
Oh that would be awesome. I hope she isn't just hyping it all up for the sake of the show.
Other possibilities could be that she may hook up with Sylar or even team up with HRG. They'd make the coolest duo.

Well, the company did not "bury" Adam.... Hiro did. And no one actually knows WHERE Adam is buried, so I don't know why you would be making the connection that Elle would be "digging" him up?
She could easily find out what happened to the guy. Elle, under the belief the Company put Adam six feet under, digs him up, thinking she saves him, but little does she know it was Hiro who put him there. And little does she know that he is a villain.
Where is the logic in Elle finding Adam? How could she find him?
She doesn't even know Hiro! And she doesn't even know what Hiro did with him!
Or am I missing something? I mean, if the writers want to drive an 18-wheeler through that Plot Hole, that's another death nail in the "Heroes" franchise for me.
You're not serious, right?
