Heroes In TV Guide's Sci-Fi Preview Issue!
Heroes' third season is previewed in the July 14 issue of TV Guide magazine, now hitting subscriber mailboxes.

Here are some highlights:

- Heroes' season premiere night on Sept. 22 will start with a one-hour special with previously unseen clips.
- Villains is a 13-episode story arc. "It's not as obvious as its title might sound," Zachary Quinto reveals. "There's an event at the Company that releases a whole host of Level 5 prisoners - all very dangerous killers - but 'Villains' will cast a much wider net than that. We'll explore the darknes and villainy in everybody. Even the good guys. Each has a line - what does it take to cross it?"
- The season premiere picks up right after the "Powerless" cliffhangers.
- Hiro will inherit his father's business empire and has a new nemesis, Daphne (Brea Grant), who moves at supersonic speed.
- Claire's mother Meredith returns to teach Claire how to protect herself after an attack from Sylar.
- We'll see a flash-forward to the future in which Clare becomes "mean, damaged and kinda nuts," as Hayden Panettiere reveals. "Future Claire is a real bad ass."

Tom in Orlando: I thought Linderman was dead on Heroes, but then I heard Malcolm McDowell say he's returning. WTF?
Let's just say our beloved Nathan Petrelli has a brush with death (you saw that last season) and when he comes back...Wait, what was I saying again? For some reason I just started thinking about that movie with Bruce Willis where the kid sees dead people. What was that called again? That was an awesome movie. Hmmm, I wonder why my mind just went there. Old age is a witch. Anyway, in other news, Ali Larter is coming back as a totally different person (i.e. doppelgänger), meaning someone who is not Niki or Jessica or Gina (my head is hurting), and with a whole new power. And Claire's bio-madre Jessalyn Gilsig is also returning.

Oh, twist my arm and force me to talk about one of TV's hottest men. Mohinder Suresh has a lot coming up this season, including a love connection with a female Hero we already know (together, they are hot as fire). And let's just say that if you had a sneaking suspicion Suresh might have some kind of superability, you would not be wrong at one point this season. There is more to him than meets the eye, but he ultimately may need to "scale back." (Note the quotes and try to figure out what the bejeezus I'm talking about in the Comments below.)

p.s. chandra had a lizard named mohinder. Bruce willis was said as a joke to arthur petrelli for april fools , right? Hm....can Nathan see dead people? I am still shocked that is was revealed thaty arthur petrelli will be in episode 8 and his powers are a advanced version[miami / weather control ] of nathan's ability[aerokinesis].

There seems to be some confusion as to who stopped the hurricane, as evidenced by the many questions on the subject we received, so we’ll hand t over to Miles Nelson:

Lately, we've been seeing abilities being used in different ways, or been shown more powerful forms of them (i.e. Matt and Maury). Will there be more father/son connection/expansion of abilities this season? For example, Nathan and Mr. Petrelli: are their powers connected? I read a theory that Nathan's ability to fly comes from him being having Aerokinesis, or the ability to control air (and gasses such as oxygen, hydrogen, etc).

And last episode we were told that a member of the group of 12 stopped a hurricane from destroying the east coast. Could Mr. Petrelli have had Nathan's power and used it to control the weather and stop the hurricane? Please tell me if I'm on to something.

Claire gets attacked by sylar? I do not want to see that scene !!!! A Woman's violence or rape is a scene i will not watch.

Meredith may make her strong, but the attack will make her dark claire

Wow niki gets a completely new power, mohinder hooks up with maya[she does like his father's activating evolution], mohinder has a power [something to do with chandra's experiments or he has a trait like shanti], and future peter/angela work together?

I wonder what are angela's secrets and how is matt going to escape from the place he flashes to?

Peter has been confirmed to have alot of powers we do not know about. He willl gain more from level 5 escapess and his future self.
Sylar is becoming like spike. Spike raped buffy [from buffy the vampire slayer]then he had a change of heart.

Kring has big plans for the haitian

Tim Kring (OFL) has been known to call the Haitian the heart of this show. He’s the closest to a classically mythological character as we have. And we will most certainly be delving a little more into his life and character this season.

the files on the petrelli and the parkman family [bob's office] may be revealed . No given point when Kring wants to give away what is in the company files though.

The vault items will be present in s3, but will have a mythological meaning in Season 7

I love Elle, and I think she's one of the best new additions (if not THE best) this season. We saw a lot of parallels between Claire and Elle in the latter half of Volume 2, with Elle being Claire's dark shadow, in many ways. Will you follow up on this in Volume 3?

Once upon a time, you stated that you drew influence for “Heroes” from the Myth of the Nine Unknown Men. Any plans to elaborate on that? It seems like an interesting thing to play with.

Linderman had a wife? Linda tavara? a offspring? Hmm.... i had a theory about linda and linderman awhile ago when i saw how her powers / mindstate seemed like sylar but, ... hm... .future manifesto talk[relating to peter and nathan]?

I'm against that niki thing and as i've shown before i'm all for almost anything they do. I think that really screws up the cahracter if they go that way. My only way of seeing it work is somehow the shot thingie doesnt jsut remove powers but changed something else in her too that causes a different power.

they were making a joke. Arthur does NOT have weather control and Nathan does NOT have "Aerokinesis".

They were saying the person who asked sounded like they were "on something".... as in drugs....

You seem so certain of that Action... the way I read that line "You’re on to something? Or you’re on something?" is that they neither confirm nor deny the theory. However saying that, as far as I'm concerned it's still just a theory and has no real relevance to me until it is confirmed in show or by a person tied to the production in some manner...

i dont know if you keep up with the BTE articles, but that sounds more like the kind of reaction they usually give to crazy theories than the sly reaction they usually (and obviously) give to questions they arent allowed to answer.

I agree with Circadian. I thought they were implying that the theory was crazy enough to be right or just down right crazy. I've read a heap of BTE and they have given us cryptic/vague and very unhelpful answers before... in fact I think they do that with most questions!

I love it when Niki get's all down and skanky. She works it so hard core.

One thing that I am looking forward to is seeing Micah and how he will try and interact with his MOTHER even though ;Niki; no longer exists. THAT will be very interesting.
