David Anders said it himself that he was in "two locations" in episode 1 of season 2.

Here is a good reason not to have Milo play the part of the shooter... Milo is in the same room. Why go to all that effort? They could get a stand-in to do it like they did for Sylar before ZQ was cast.

Yeah, but also a good reason TO have milo play the shooter is to make a lot of people like us who scrutinize every frame think it is him. Not saying it's true, but just as much as there is a reason for him NOT to play the shooter, there is also reason FOR him to play the shooter.

Yessie in New Orleans: Heroes! Give me something!
Gladly! I will give you a bevy of video interviews with our favorites (Masi, Milo, Zach, Adrian, Sendhil, etc.) this week for a Heroes Week extravaganza, so keep checking back. In the meantime, I can tell you this doozy of a spoiler: Sylar slices open the head of the person you may consider the show's biggest star! That happens within the first two episodes and we also learn exactly what he does once Sy-baby pops the lid on our heroic pals, so let's just say that there is plenty to look forward to early on in season three. They are putting some big plot points and answers in motion, from what I hear.

Wow, thanks for the info, Kac!

We know we can definitely eliminate Present Hiro, because he will be meeting his arch enemy (super-speed girl, I think), and chances are that will pan out for more than two episodes.

Probably not Peter, probably not Nathan, and probably not Angela.

My theory?
Either Claire, Bob, or Elle. I'm thinking one of the first two...

...hey, wait a minute, wasn't Future Hiro supposed to make an appearance in like episode 13 of Season 2 (which would be episode 2 of Season 3......). Could also be Future Hiro, which could be a play on words when they say "...the show's biggest star" (after all, it is still HIRO, even though it's not Present Hiro). And in the Comic Con preview, we did see a sword through Future Hiro's chest...

Thoughts?

She mentions that it's someone we'd consider to be the show's biggest star. The most popular characters on Heroes are arguably Hiro, Peter, and Claire. So I'd say it's one of those three, but that there's a twist involved. Like it's a dream or a flash-forward sequence.

Sorry I've been absent lately, guys. Studying for a huge exam on the 31st. Ugh.

I think it's Elle. Note how she said 'biggest star' and not character. Kristen Bell can vouch for that accolade, and apparently her run could be up soon (she wasn't going to be there for much longer in Volume two.)

That or there is a twist.

Can't wait for the videos to come through this week. Exciting times indeed!

Nice thoughts everyone! Yeah.. after much thought myself, I'm leaning towards Future Hiro on this one (the twist being, well, "Future"). I think he'll get the sword through the chest (as seen in the ComicCon trailer), and then Sylar will open his head. The only problem there is that would REALLY give the writers free reign as to what they want to do for the rest of the entire series, which I don't particularly like.

Although, I do love your word analysis, MPol. However, I'd argue that Stephen Toblowsky (Bob) may be a bigger "star" than Kristen Bell. Toblowsky's been in like everything lol. Personally, I would also like Sylar to gain an ability that Peter doesn't already have. Sylar acquiring electrokinesis would get kind of boring.

HOWEVER, if Sylar had the Midas Touch, he could TK a special, open up their head, turn their corpse to gold, and then melt it with Zane's ability, thus leaving no evidence of a murder (oh man, that was an in-the-moment Popkorny theory, lol - I love it!)

So I guess that puts my choices as:
1) Future Hiro
2) Bob

(P.S. The reason it's probably not Angela is, although she too is a "star," we know that Peter/Nathan will be trying to stop her during most of Season 3, which means she has to be kept alive)

As for Claire, we also saw a cheerleader getting choked/wall-slammed by a very big man... I think the culprit there is Knox.

Thanks. Yep, bob is probably correct. Sylar wants revenge on the company. He could take his ability and use illusion to take over as bob momentarily.

F = five years gone
P= present timeline

5 years gone
Sylar kills Candice and steals her ability.

After November 8, 2007
D.L. and micah are dead
Mohiner works for the company
Matt works for the government
Hiro and Peter break into a secure prison to free evolved humans, only to encounter Matt's agents. (Walls, Part 1)
Matt, director of Homeland Security, captures past Hiro mistaking him for the terrorist Future Hiro.

Bennet and Hana work to hide evolved humans from the government. Future Hiro asks for assistance, but is turned down.
Bennet informs Matt of Future Hiro's presence, confirming that the Hiro in custody is from the past. After temporarily apprehending Future Hiro and Ando, Peter freezes time and rescues the two.
Bennet finds Hana dead. Matt obtains the location of Claire from Bennet then kills him.
Matt captures Claire and brings her to New York, where Nathan reveals himself to actually be Sylar before killing Claire.

Mohiner kills the haitian

Regular timeline
Hana and D.L. are dead

Sylar kills Candice and steals her ability.
Noah and Nathan [possibly] are dead momentarily until they are healed
Adam and Peter break into Primatech, searching for the deadly Strain 138 of the Shanti virus.

Sounds like mohinder, matt, and noah's involvement with the company in the 5 years gone future is actually happening.

Since Nathan said he will eventually die, i wonder who will sylar get later.

I cannot wait until we get some new answers. I want real info on Adam, arthur, linda Tavara, and charles.

I want as much of the old generation to stick around. Bob and Angela can really provide us with fantastic scope on how the past generations worked and why they worked in that manner. I felt Volume Two (Generations, incidentally enough) gave us some portion of the past but left gaps, or rather, could have elaborated on the past much more. The writers have said they will look into the picture of the twelve more and the reason why they all congregated together on that one day.

And whilst the actor that plays Bob has been in a lot, I know that I and so many others don't know him by name. And up until Heroes, haven't seen him in too much. I'm guessing he's more well known in the US?

Bob's power has been awesome though and I would love for him OR Sylar, to really go wild with it.

I'm so excited to see this!
The biggest "stars" on the show in my eyes are Hayden, Milo, Ali, Adrian, Kristen and Masi. I doubt Ali and Adrian will be killed off, basically because what is the point in bringing them back? Also Hayden + Milo's a healer so, i would say Masi, but in the future or something along those lines! And as someone has said, Future Hiro was said to appear! Smile

Also, does anyone think that Ali will be coming back as a Jean Grey sort of character?! I would love that!

as an xmen comparision i always compared ther to jean gray.

I do wonder what to expect for this next season. can't wait for more spoilers and loved seeing bts pics finally Smile
