Hiro buried Adam in the same cemetery where Kaito and Ishi are buried. So yes, someone knows where Adam is.
But again, it doesn't change your point. Only Hiro knows where Adam is. Unless someone managed to witness it, or coerces it out of Hiro, I'm not quite sure how they'd be able to find Adam and dig him up. Unless they manage to get Molly to find him...hmm...
But then we hit this death-and-rebirth debate about "Adam" and how much oxygen he needs to do it, OR does he goes into a vicious cycle of this "death-and-rebirth" OR
Does he shut it down, in some sort of cocoon action? So, if he hibernates, then is there enough electrical activity in the brain for someone like Molly to even find him?
So, again, ONLY Hiro knows where he is, so NO, Elle is not hooking up with "Adam", unless the writers drive a semi-truck through a plot hole, and lose me as a viewer FOREVER.
I am not snooty MPOL.... I am sorry if I sounded that way..... So very sorry!
PIECE MAN!
It's just that the theory made no sense, and then on top of that I had just responded to KAC's cryptic message -- As it is, I am losing patience with the "Heroes" franchise.
Let's put it this way -- if this show doesn't do something SOON to return with a bang it will be canceled within 6 episodes next year.
This is my only prediction for Season 3.
EDIT: I should probably take myself away from the forums for a while..... It's for the best.
agreed, not to be snooty either but yea, i' m 100% with u guys, unless someone gets the info out of hiro (or uses molly) they wont be able to find him.
(aka theres no way for elle to 'hook up' with adam by unburying him)
that being said, i hope theres more SPOILERS rather than just theories etc (hehe, dont wanna be nitpicky though heh)
I can not see Heroes being axed after six episodes. Whilst rating went down at the start of the season, by season's end they were back up to eleven mill, almost on par with S1's ratings.
And quality wise I have faith in the show. A few bad episodes and an unfortunate writers strike won't put me off so easily.
Hercules67, perhaps you're just frustrated with the long wait and an unsatisfying Volume 2. Let Volume 3 start first, and yeah take a brake for a while and come back to the show fresh in September.
Sendhil said that the trailer at the Jules Verne festival was just some scenes that they shot before the writer's strike for episode twelve. He doesn't know if they'll even actually be used in the new season, but the writers have finished four scripts.
Cristine said that "If you like the idea of Sylar as a Petrelli, you'll be interested in the next season."
David Anders talked about his work on Heroes in the present tense, and Sendhil said that it's a "pretty safe assumption" that Mohinder and Adam will meet someday (he wants to have a battle of fake British accents).
WHOA! I didn't think they would make Sylar related to the brothers... unless she doesn't literally mean it. knowing Cristine, she may be alluding to the partnership with Syler and that perhaps he could become LIKE a son to her, on her path to evil. Here is the quote in full context...
Quote:
Someone asked Cristine what she thought of Sylar as a Petrelli. I'm not really sure what this question was about (someone's pet theory? A Peter/Sylar joke? A 5YG reference? IDK), and neither did Cristine. She pondered it for awhile and wondered if maybe she's Sylar's mother, but decided that she couldn't be because we already know his mother. But she thought maybe he could be a cousin or something. And then she said "If you like the idea of Sylar as a Petrelli, you'll like season three."
The first part of that makes it feel as though Cristine is merely alluding to other things, rather than Sylar actually being her son (though what if his father is Arthur?) Okay so now my head is spinning. I do love how cryptic Crisitine is being. Someone give this woman an Emmy already!
Oh, forgive my sarcasm, but they did this same kind of hype for season 2, and it BOMBED..
BADLY.
I'll be more excited when I can actually see some meat in the show. Just because the actors are trying to revive thrill in the viewer doesn't mean that the show is going to do any better right now. They're mainly doing this just to keep a nice, cushy job, to be completely honest... I mean, without viewers, the show cancels, and they're out of jobs.. plain and simple.
So yeah, she's being nice and cryptic, but until I can actually see some good spoilers or clips, I'm not going to hold my breath until the next season comes out.
It's going to take at least two episodes to clear out all of the bad air left over from the last season, but if they return to the winning formula they had in season 1, then season 3 could be interesting.
I just hope that they've learned from their mistakes, and don't repeat them this season.....
Someone at Television Without Pity was at the Eclipse event I think or they managed to get a report from the show.
Jormengrund, one meh volume will not deter my love or enthusiasm for the show. If this season is bad, then yes my love confidence in the creators will not be as high. But as of now, Volume 3 looks very promising. The writers have seen the error of their ways and seem to have embraced what was great about the first volume. So until crappy episodes appear on my TV, I'll try to remain positive. And honestly, volume two could have been really good had they not had to cut it short. The network and writers wanted to finish off the virus plot, thus the two final episodes were very choppy, but episodes 7-9 were really gaining in strength. Had the strike not played a part in the shorter season, then I think season two as a hole would have been great. But as I have said, it was a learning curve for everyone involved, so lets hope that they can deliver with the new season... so far it sounds very promising.
However, with season 2, they'd planned on having a shortened season, yet they really tried to pack WAY too much plot into a shorter timespan.
If they'd have stuck with one plotline, instead of trying to run three or four, it would have been more cohesive, and would have worked.
However, they bit off more than they could chew, and as a result, the entire second season honestly SUCKED.
Now, I'll grant that just one episode isn't going to make or break the third season. However, if I get the same kind of vibe after a couple of episodes, I know that I'll have lost my faith in the writers and in Tim Kring. Because obviously at that point I'll know that they're incapable of learning anything from last season, and that they're still blindly grasping for straws when there's so much more that they could be doing with the show..
Anyway, I'll agree. It took at least three episodes of season 2 before I really started to wonder where they were going with the story, and it just got worse from there. So I'm giving season 3 the same leeway. After three episodes, if I'm still feeling lost and confused, then I'm going to have to say that I must be too old to appreciate the show anymore..
Here's to hoping that they did learn something from last season!
McDowell : McDowell: I don't know whether Linderman can stick his own eyes back in their sockets yet or fix his brain. We'll have to see. But he is a healer, so anything is possible.
i always thought it would be cool...if maybe they needing something healed (not someONE) that they couldnt just use the miracle blood on. aka...they'd have to use the blood to heal linderman, who would then be able to heal whatever needed healing..
i'm assuming it'd have to be a plant, or maybe animal...SOMETHING that neither claire nor adam's blood could heal...afterall we all know theres a "2nd level" to powers (they become stronger)
“You’ve gotta know that she’s got something going on,” actress Christine Rose told fans at the recent Eclipse event in the United Kingdom. She wouldn’t say exactly what that power would include. However, she did say that she wouldn’t want to have it as “power like that is dangerous and potentially harmful.”
While working on the series, Rose has put in a great deal of thought into the back story of Angela Petrelli and believes that her relationship with Linderman (Malcolm McDowel) and Kaito Nakamua (George Takei) goes a lot farther than anyone else knows.
“I just decided Nathan was my son with him [McDowell], and Milo [] from Arthur [Petrelli]. We all met at Woodstock, done acid and became heroes. Hiro is my child with Kaito cause I think there is something there.”
