ahh i took jessicas response to be affirming he was just saying that.
Hal : "I didn't kill anyone."
Jessica : "No they ruled it an accident and left Niki with you to be your litlte punching bag"
re: multiplicity
i dont think that had anything to do wiht her powers. i think bobs thing on that was just to get her into the ocmpany. but he didnt realize an agent with that many issues probly isnt an agent you want. since maury quite easily caused her to pretty much kill herself for all intenstive purposes. |

Yeah, that was my take on it as well, but you do have a valid point PK. There is an off-chance that didn't happen, but I doubt it.
The only reason I think it's Knox who kills Bob is because if Sylar attacks Bob, he'd go for the brain of course. That's not really "losing your head", just losing a part of your head. We see on the DVD what Knox does to Claire, which makes me think that's more of what is meant by losing your head. |

Sylar has decapitated at least one person completely, maybe two. In one of the GNs he decapitated a guy... and I think I'm remembering correctly that it was mentioned offhand in early episodes that one of Sylar's victims was found headless....
i could be wrong on that one, and if Im right, they could be talking about the same guy from the GN. I believe in the case of decapitation Sylar did it that way because he killed them in public and didnt have time to brain-read there. Probably just quicker. If HRG and Angela are allowing Sylar to do it, I dont see why he would behead them.
I hate to see Bob go if it is him, we never got to see his power truly at work. |

Me too... that's the only reason I really want Bob to stay on the show...
I mean, sure, his purpose in The Company might have been to just provide it with money (since he could use his golden touch to sell things and raise $$), but I want to see more to it.
Remember the spoiler that said Bob can do much more than just turn things to gold? What the heck... WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SEE THAT!!!! hmph! |

So are people now saying that Knox's special ability is to manipulate his body into a metal much like the cyborg in Terminator 2?
Also, like I've stated before, I believe Nicki/Tracy/Jessica is Adam's daughter or daughters due to an old Graphic Novel. Not sure how to explain her recovery unless due to her super strength she was able to take more punishment from the explosion, was blasted into the water below. (House was over water, right?) I mean, it may be as simple as this: If you can pull a sign out of solid concrete and swing it like a freaking golf club or bat, then hypothetically speaking, you should be able to receive and handle quite a bit of blunt force. For example, if you can punch through normal walls, etc... without breaking your hand, then you should be able to take quite a bit of force.
I know, she had the virus, but maybe it really wasn't the virus and was instead something that would keep her more line. You know the company never "openly" says "exactly" what they are doing. There were many different forms of the virus, so my theory is Nicki never truly lost her ability, the company just manipulated her into "thinking" that. |

You have to remember: With that "virus" that Adam was so intent on, there's a chance that it wasn't going to affect some folks. This being said, you also know that the mind is very susceptible to the power of suggestion. If someone starts to tell you that you're showing signs of a serious disease, the mind and body will actually behave like your perception of the disease would be.
With an unstable mentality like Niki, I could see her power actually shrugging off this virus, but with some suggestion, her mind would mentally disable her body, thus effectively destroying her ability in her psyche, and rendering her helpless. If she believes that she was infected by the virus, then she would act like an infected person, and her body would respond as such.
I don't think she's dead, but I _do_ think that we're not going to be seeing much of the Niki/Jessica persona anymore. If anything, the character that emerges from this is going to be more confident, and a bit more stable than we've seen.
At least, that's my prediction! |

Is Angela hinting a connection to Echo's parents at the end?
She is hinting that she has known him for a long time, perhaps his whole life. They are connected. Whether he remembers it or not. |

Interesting, so Echo could be one of the two Petrelli's we'll discover. |

no, no one can.
no one knows yet what Knox's ability is. The only info we have is what WOULD have been in season 2 had it continued, which is the tidbit I posted earlier.
Nothing is seen on screen, but somehow Knox decapitates Claire barehanded, and it sounds like metal when he does.
Even if this was his ability (the liquid metal thing) it might not be anymore. |

somewhat extra detail on 3x02
"THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT" (episode 302) – Sept. 22 @ 10-11 PM on NBC
A DOZEN VILLAINS WITH UNIMAGINABLE POWER ARE UNLEASHED AFTER THE COMPANY IS ATTACKED -- SYLAR VS. ELLE (KRISTEN BELL) -- ANGELA PETRELLI (CRISTINE ROSE) TAKES CONTROL AND REVEALS A JAW-DROPPING SECRET
-- In the shocking second chapter of "Volume 3: Villains," Angela (Cristine Rose) confronts her much-changed son, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia), as the bursts of violence around them only hint to the catastrophes to come. First, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) declares war on the Company by attacking their main facility, and finds even more than he bargained for on Level 5. During a devastating battle with Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), a dozen savage criminals -- all with terrible abilities -- escape. Meanwhile, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) discovers something new and unexpected about her abilities. Determined to reclaim his family's terrible secret, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) track Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to Paris. After a fateful night, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is thrilled to find his research, his life and his relationship with Maya (Dania Ramirez) evolving in leaps and bounds. Stuck in unfamiliar territory, Matt (Greg Grunberg) finds a guide (guest star Ntare Mwine) to help him.
Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar and Jack Coleman star.
Ashley Crow, Jessalyn Gilsig, Malcolm McDowell, Stephen Tobolowsky, Bruce Boxleitner, Francis Capra, Blake Shields, William Katt, Ken Lally, David H. Lawrence XVII, Andre Royo and Kiko Ellsworth guest star.
Some of the level 5 villains
David H. Lawrence XVII = Howard Grigsby (The Butterfly Effect) His website says he has been cast in heroes but can't talk about the role. From what little is known of Howard's looks, this actor seems to fit that pretty well. Noah helped put this guy into a level five cell so im sure if he turns out to be one of the people that escapes he is going to have lots of fun.
Kiko Ellsworth = Echo DeMille (The Butterfly Effect) It was bound to happen and the second episode press release confirms his appearance.
Jamie Hector= Benjamin "Knox" Washington (The Second Coming) Back before the strike he had already shot some stuff as Knox, he is clearly still around and is seen locked up in a straight jacket as well as in a few other previews.
Francis Capra = Jesse Murphy (The Second Coming, The Butterfly Effect) This is confrimed from spoilers and Francis's website.
Ken Lally= The German (The Butterfly Effect) fits the physical appearance of what we know the german looks like.
Blake Shields = (The Second Coming, The Butterfly Effect) In the previews, I believe it is the character that Blake Shields is playing that is shooting what looks like blue flames inside a level 5 cell.
Big spoiler

Brea grant interview
He can stop time but because I'm so fast I can move within his time-stopped world," Grant explained. "We sort of cancel each other's powers out. I can run around in his stopped world but I can't run at super-speeds. He can't do anything about it, so it's a good dynamic between the two of us. He's constantly the good guy, where as I'm more of the bad guy."
Grant revealed that before she was cast, the writers had very specific plans for Daphne and even she wasn't let in on all of them. "I think they had a much stronger idea of the character when I came in than even I did. And now I'm gradually getting the hang of it."
I got to work with Malcolm McDowell and it was amazing," she said. "He's so cool and has about a million stories. He's also the ultimate bad guy. He's so evil that it's cool."

Spoiler warning do not read
When asked if what she shot with McDowell was a flashback, Grant confirmed the scene does take place in the present. McDowell's character, Daniel Linderman, an evil mob boss with the ability to heal with his touch, was last seen having his brain yanked from his head by in the finale of "Heroes" season one. How his character will return this season and for how long has yet to be announced |
