something tore the cab completely open that killed Mo's father, most likely telekinetic or magnetic controlling. For that matter, everything so far sylar has affected has been metal, is that not correct? stopped bullets, forced gun to cops head, crushed someone into a ceiling with a metallic cart....could be metal control instead of telekinesis?
also, I dont think the alter ego's are the primary ability of Niki's, I think it is her mind coping with the ability when it appeared. Personality splitting can be tied to a traumatic event, so maybe the alter ego has nothing to do with her power at all, just how her mind reacted to it's appearance. I think super strength is her only ability per se.

According to a news clipping on Sylar's wall, a "Paul E. Sylar" was born on June 11, 1962. This would make that man 44 in 2006. [2] Whether or not this Sylar is the same as the above mentioned character has not been verified.

Sylar knew the late Chandra Suresh, before he died. Chandra told his son, Mohinder, that he thought that Sylar was "Patient Zero". In a taped phone call between Chandra and Sylar, the latter alludes that the former "made [him] this way" (aware of his powers) and refers to a mysterious "uncontrollable hunger" he now has. Chandra wanted nothing to do with Sylar at this point.
It would go with the theory he eats (absorbs) abilities
Not to throw a book at anyone... but if you look at the pic of Sylar in the Shadows... you see that he has a moustache' beard combo...... the homeless guy definantly has no facial hair....... No connection.... but the Combo does look oddly familiar
Sylar is played by sean bean A.K.A. boramir from lord of the rings he is the main bad guy in thsi season but possibly not season 2....therefore he is not peter or niki of anyone else......H.R.G. is a good guy who in later episodes will try desperately to save his daugther hence why he goes after issac...sylar kills issac because of his potential to stop him

ok ! ok I will say it. Sylar is the old man on Home Improvement thus the reason for hiding the face yet again like he did on that show. He just wants to let everyone know that all the studies he did next door to tim was just a preparation for the heroes to come. He is now pissed at tim and wants to blow up ny for fun andtake brains for more knowledge to make a spinoff of home improvement. I will show proof later on to this FACT.
If Peter mimiced Sylar's abilities and then ate his brain, would he gain all of Sylar's powers? Would he also inherit pure EVIL? Then he eats Hiro's brain, goes back in time just to get his brain eaten by himself. Talk about personal cannibalism. nah. I don't think Sylar is Peter. I think Sylar could be Linderman (His name scrabbles to 11 points), but I doubt it. Sylar could also be Clair's bio dad, which I think is more plausible. Sylar could also be that raving loony. Most probable and the coolest idea yet. He could also be any combo therin.

I cant comment on the Nubian girl, or Nikki just yet. Need more time....but I can tell you that she is AND will turn on the other Heroes. She clearly set Nate up and her alter ego wont allow the "real" Nikki to remember once she blacks out. I dont think her son has anything to do with nothing. Strictly decoy. I believe the Nikki that strip teased for Nate was the alter ego. I'm willing to bet she wakes up in the elevator or passed out in the bed. (Depending on who Skylar took with him) Nate is the only one in that scenario with the real power. How can Sky steal the brain of a girl who does not exist. That would mean the real Nikki could not survive.........Comments?
One of the people "Jessica" killed to frame DL. I disagree with your theory on her "Turning" I just think that she needs to come to terms with her latent abilities so that she doesn't need "Jessica" anymore.
Everything we have seen Sylar do att his point can be atributted to telekinesis. Even freezing shows advanced TK on the molecular level.
I agree. Telekinesis is about redirecting kinetic energy. Heat is related to kinetic energy, and a sufficiently powerful and/or highly trained teek should be able to raise or lower the temperatures of their target.
In some circles, cryokinesis and pyrokinesis are just highly specialized forms of telekinesis.
Also, if a telekinetic believed that a gunshot had sufficient force to knock him back, and made a barrier to block said gunshot, might his own power telekinetically knock him down being utilized on a subconscious level?...

There are some scenes where his face is not so dark, I'm sure they can be lighted enough to see more...
