Just a thought. If Voodoo man and clare's father are taking the specials in one at at time. Is it not possible that part of their power has been cloned and given to sylar? That might explain why he seems to possess a lot of powers
just another idea. film makers always like us to have been shown the villain already even if we dont know it. When Mohinder confronted Nathan in the street, an old man rambling on something walked past. Is it possible that this is him?
I think it's safe to say Sylar can regenerate. I watched him get up several times thanks to DVR, and I distinctly heard the bullets falling out of him as he rose.
I just went back and watched the scene where Sylar is shot, and the way he stands back up is very strange. There's also a distinct "whoosh" noise when he vanishes/disappears/flys away. (Circle One)
I just noticed that the titles of both of those episodes could be related to Sylar's appearance in them...
One Giant Leap -- the way Sylar disappears...
Collision -- Mohinder literally bumping into (colliding with) the homeless guy (Sylar...?) on the sidewalk
is this intentional?... are they giving us these episode titles as clues to identifying Sylar?... of course those titles relate to plot movements for the main characters... but not nearly so literally as those last two titles related to supposed Sylar... clever diversion?
*sigh* I was foiled again in my attempts at rumor mongering..
Anyways, I dont think its that homeless guy.
Sylar was standing up, very silent... very good at calculating his next move.
The homeless guy was talking to himself, very loud... doesnt seem like one of the main villains.
Hmmm... anybody read The Watchmen? A homeless guy (or crazy guy holding a "The End Is Nigh" sign) that you barely notice that turns out to be important? That could be another interesting parallel between the two.
There has been a few instances where the villain has been seen at the start but has been dismissed as an extra. Also He would have a keen interest in the specials he would follow them try and find out a routine. Best way to blend in is to part of the background.
He can cause objects to fly around and kill people, more-or-less stop bullets (he got knocked down by the momentum?), fly, make people his puppets, and freeze people (by slowing down their molecules?).
I've always thought Superman's powers were just telekinesis - I find that the easiest way to explain why his super strength isn't on all the time.
I think it's safe to say Sylar can regenerate. I watched him get up several times thanks to DVR, and I distinctly heard the bullets falling out of him as he rose.
That's compatible with a stopped-bullets-with-telekinesis explanation; he released the bullets from his control as he popped up.
