I see Evanescence is already a popular choice for Peter, but I still think Evanescence's The Only One (from the new The Open Door album) is perfect to describe the relationship between Nathan and Peter throughout the season and possibly even all the characters. This might even be a great song for a video just about season one in general.
I'll post the lyrics below, but the refrain is what really reminds me of Peter and Nathan:

It goes very well with Nathan's supposed destiny as governor and president and Peter's realization of just how ruthless Nathan's prepared to be to achieve that dream.
Also, there's:

This part could describe a lot of the characters, but it could apply to Peter and Claire when they realize that they're alike.
Lastly, there's:

This is totally Peter--trying to fly, brooding on rooftops, wondering if he's the one who kills everyone, trying to do the right thing and sacrifice himself, wondering if he can really be as great a man as he thinks Nathan is, then finally being afraid as the power he absorbs overwhelms him.
As you can see, I'm really passionate about this video. Unfortunately, I don't have the skill or resources to make it. I hope someone adopts this idea and loves it as much as i do. Thanks!

It's funny you say that, even before i learned how to make videos, i really thought that song would make an excellent song for a video. I'm guessing nobody has made it yet, i'll check youtube.
If you still want a clip made for this song, lemme know and i'll see what i can do over the weekend.  |

| Ooh, cool idea. I've onl heard one or two Evanescence songs myself, but my friend's obsessed. Anyway, I think you're absolutely right, this song sounds perfect. |
