Hey, I'm Lienna! I LOVE Heroes! Actually I didn't get to watch the first 1 and a half episodes *cries uncountable tears* Let me see, what should I say about myself...hm...I like to write, draw, read, watch movies/TV, listen to music, hang out with my friends, ride horses, and snowboard. My fav books are (where should I start!) the Sabriel series, Harry Potter, Cirque du Freak, Heir Apparent, A Great and Terrible Beauty, The Keys to the Kingdom, and so many others! My fav movies include Moulin Rouge!, Sleepy Hollow, X-men, Lord of the Rings, Robin Hood Men In Tights, Van Helsing, Serenity, The Mummy, and soooooo many others! My TVs are Heroes (dur), Lost, Firefly, and Tru Calling. I like rock music (Nickelback, Green Day, etc.). My horse's name is May and I love her! Boarding is life...um...what else to say? I'm no good at these things
I have to have the slowest computer in the world, let me tell you! A three minute clip takes about an hour to load so I have a sneaky suspicion an entire episode might take...let me calculate *giggle*...a very long time! Urgh, sometimes I kinda wanna just hit it but that might just make it worst. I'm waiting for some reruns cause I didn't even get to see my officially favorite part of the show which is Peter stepping off the building. Love it! I love his outfit there too. I'm so going to go out and buy a red hoody thing and a white coat...
OMG, those little horses are so cute! I wanna get one just so I can snuggle with it!
It takes me about an hour to watch a music video at home and then I come to school and I don't have to wait at all! It's so unfair! And even worse I can't watch YouTube at school because it doesn't have the program it needs and you have to be an administrator to download it! Ah! Oh what a sad life I lead...
Thanks for the welcome! Also, I forgot to mention I'm in love with the show Avatar. It's awesome! I know that makes me sound kinda childish or whatever but I don't care!
Mucho unfortunately she's not technically my horse. God, I wish though. I've been taking lessons at a horse farm near my house for seven years now and for the last 2 years (nearly three) I've been training one of the young horses on the farm. I'm the only one who's ridden her in that time and honestly she's the only horse I care to ride. I only ride once and week and I suffer from withdrawl even then! *sighs dreamily* She's my one true love...
Horses seem like AMAZING animals! I rode horses in pre-school. Shiloh around Dallas TX. I don't remember, tho ... haha!
I love petting them and talking to them. When i am in a place they come on over to see me! Sweet horsies!
BUT I'm a bit a-scared to ride them. What if I somehow make them step in a gopher hole? And you can't really hold onto anything, it's sca-wee!
YET I overcame my fear when I visited Egypt not too long ago! I rode a horse around the Giza Plateau! It WAS sca-wee! I had a kid on a mule/donkey leading the horse. Woah ... those sadles feel VERY slppery moving side to side on teh horse! And when it's going down hill and your facing down YIKES! And when it starts to pick up speed
#_#
I even had to change horses! Two got into a kind of tiff! The donkey was so funny, it would all of a sudden go into a braying bit! And the horses and mules were friends!
what else ... oh yeah!
I got used tothe ride so by the end I was holding my hands up in the air as the horse walked!
It's funny, when I got scared, I'd automaticly go "woah woah woah" hee hee, but maybe they only know Egyptian.
One person's saddle WAS lose and he started to slide off! @_@
Let's see ... they were all very nice to me. The other people on the tour and hte peopel with teh horses.
AND the coolest thing is one of the horses had been trained to DANCE! This horse was so talanted! it would do clip ... clop ... clip .. clop with all four feet in a completely unnatural horsie manner! And it did head "bows" at the end and seemed to love the applause!
That was such a great time
That's so cool! Now I'm jealous! Wow, Egypt! Awesome...and yeah, riding can be pretty hard until you get used to it. Practice Practice Practice! I like petting them too but my fav is when May gives me kisses. I love it!

well, it was a great trip! My first time out of The United States of America. It was like I HAD to go! But, I had to take my investment out and I've now spent all my savings
but it was WORTH it!!!!
Riding would be OK if I had a good and patient teacher ... and horse! lol
But, I don't see myself doing that a lot so ...
I'm so sad, I've never left the US! I live in NY and the farthest I've been from home is Florida! My parents have been to Mexico and my dad went to Germany but that's it for them too. As soon as I'm out of high school I'm leaving. I know everybody says that but I'm going to go to college and go on the study abroad program. England here I come! Whoot!
My lessons started when I got one lesson as a present on my birthday and I've been doing it ever since! Thank God I was able to find a good teacher so close to home. Otherwise I would never have met May! It was poetic...when I was first learining to ride, May was born, at the same time as another horse named Aaron. They were kept in individual stall in the indoor arena where I rode and they'd peek their heads over and watch. I remember from the moment I saw that little tiny dark horse, before I knew her name or anything, I loved her. (I also took an instant dislike to Aaron which has lasted all these years) I begged Jean (my teacher) to let me ride her for years and finally, four years later, she did. I've been riding her ever since!
Her horsie kisses are adorable. When horses are in herds they show affection by nipping the other horses skin, usually around the shoulder area. May does that to me! She never gets the skin with her teeth but she'll nip my shirt every once and a while, especially after I give her a treat, and then she'll nibble with her lips on my ear. It makes me all sparkly inside! As you can tell I could write about her forever...and ever...and ever...
I think you should have ridden a camel in Egypt. That'd be cool!
