I wonder if the gash on Peters left side of his face by his eye somehow relates to the earlier/later confrontation with Hiro on the train, where Hiro states: "You look different without your scar..." Perhaps this is where the scar is born? Thoughts anyone?

Nah, I doubt it. He said he looks different without his scar. And he looks about the same, just bloody. So unless the scar grows and mutates, I think its something else.

Could be he's healing as Claire gets dragged away and the healing power stops, meaning he does get a scar. Just a thought.

could it be Peter gets cut badly, and seems/is dead. Then Claire goes over to see if he is OK, and he is able to draw upon her power (however he does it) to come back to life/heal.
Because there is an awful lot of blood underneath him!

MAN that is going to be one INTENSE scene!

I believe that scar is the one that Hiro is talking about on the train I mean it makes sense it must of been a huge scar to make someone look different and that gash on his face is pretty gnarly looking.

Another thing is does anyone think that in the previews where it shows clair running to the stairs and a shadow following her, from these pictures don't you think it would be Peter I mean obviously he did something that the cops want him, we don't know what all the blood is from so there must be something up maybe a confrontation with Sylar? Also didn't he finish the painting where clair is on the stairs and a huge shadow is coming toward her, could it be Peter?

One last thing, I believe since we can see Peter getting handcuffed and most likely going downtown, wouldn't that mean possibly a meeting with Matt and when Matt doe meet him im sure Peter will be able to read Matt's mind also, and hopefully then all the heros will start to come together and try to save the cheerleader, if she hasn't already been saved?

In the one picture of just Peter and Clair, Peter doesn't have that huge gash and then when he is getting handcuffed he does so does something happen after they are already all bloody and beat up?

If that is "THE" scar, its pretty pathetic. Is that nik on his face his trademark in the future. He looks totally different with it than without. roll

I'm just saying that the scar on his face that we can see is a slash, moderately sized, of unknown depth, but i doubt it is worthy of Hiro saying he looks different without the scar, especially sense his hair covers most of that area of his face anyways. I expect something bigger- more noticable and more permanent. Just my thoughts on the matter.
