I think Future Hiro may have seen a much larger or worse scar on the Peter he knows in the future, Future Hiro has changed things from where he comes from by coming here and telling Peter the clues he told him,where future Hiro comes from, who knows how Peter got scarred, or when it even happens.He may never even get the scar now that things have been changed.

I wonder if he's getting arrested for being a creepy man trying to get into a High School Homecoming Dance, crazily shouting about a killer after someone.
If that is "THE" scar, its pretty pathetic. Is that nik on his face his trademark in the future. He looks totally different with it than without. I'm just saying that the scar on his face that we can see is a slash, moderately sized, of unknown depth, but i doubt it is worthy of Hiro saying he looks different without the scar, especially sense his hair covers most of that area of his face anyways. I expect something bigger- more noticable and more permanent. Just my thoughts on the matter.
kudos to whoever sent you those pics. I'm agreeing that the wound on the face will turn into that scar. It could possibly be Peter that's causing the shadow, but no doubt Sylar or someone is making that bloody mess two the both of him. I bet Peter is more then relieved Claire can regenerate huh?

the puddle under his body can show that he got something done to him. I dont however see an actual injury to make a scar. He has blood all over but who knows, he may have nothing underneath the blood like claire did in the hospital. I think his scar is a later to be seen thing from another encounter with either sylar or someone else.

I wonder if Claire is able to somehow use her ability to heal others as well? Or, as many of you said, perhaps Peter is able to heal himself just by being near Claire.

It would seem unlikely that Peter would meet Matt after being arrested. Matt's based out of LA. By the time Matt could get to Texas, Hiro could get Peter out of jail. That course of action could lead to Matt comming to Texas, ie Slyar type of crime scene, man in custody vanishes. I think that "save the cheerleader, save the world" will take place throughout season 1. I think Sylar is targeting Claire to get to HRG. As for the scar I agree that it would need to be disfiguring to get the reaction we did for future Hiro, however we don't know what caused the scar in the photo. Is it possible that the scar could grow like a cancer causing intervention for Claire to try to "heal it"?

So there's no possible way that blood could belong to someone else? It can't be clairs or anything?
I see your point there Harley, he doesnt look too bloody when cops have him, maybe it is their blood, we really are not sure as to the context and order of the pictures are we, OOOOOOOO I CANT WAIT!
Here's my take on the bloodbath at the homecoming. I think it came from the "other" cheerleader who said she rescued the fireman in the train accident. Sylar thinks she's the "hero" with the powers and he kills her instead of Claire...
