Something to think about: HRG says "just take the one", does that mean that he doesn't know about Nikki's powers?
I think he knows about her powers but it will be very difficult for him to take both Nathan and Nikki.
HRG may not know of Nikki's Power. They were going after Nate there is no doubt in my eyes. Think of the Scene in which Mohinder is in Sylar's apartment and they inspect the Map with more Pins on it. One Pin IN the Las Vegas Area was holding a news paper clipping about Nate. Even Mohinder TELLS Nate that he is in Danger........and OH don't get me started on Nate in that case I mean WTF are you thinking you miraculasly get the "power" have NO clue whats going on and someone approaches you on the street who DEFFINALY knows more about it than you and you ignroe him!

Look at it from a politician's point of view. He doesn't want to acknowledge his power because he doesn't want to be a freak and distance himself from the voters. This is the same reasons Heroes have secret identities.

I recall him saying "Take one of them" Them as in he knows, but only wants one. It could be like was said that he cant handle both of them. I think he would gain more from taking Nathan a politician versus taking Niki. just my thoughts....
D.L. is Niki's husband, And I think that she is going to come around the corner and see him and her son. Since they said that D.L. is going to be shown in this episode.
Well, I think he's not in jail yet, since Micah said "They'll never catch him." Well, my theory is that they do, and then boom, he discovers his powers. I think.
The way I see it, they're going to grab Nathan because he's so high-profile that they have to do it now. If they let him get back to New York, he'd be surrounded by his entourage and bodyguards. Mohinder couldn't even get close enough to hold a conversation with him, a kidnapping would be tricky. But in Vegas, it'd be easier to find a window of opportunity to grab him.
As for Niki, he probably feels that they can take her whenever they need to.
They can take her as Niki and im sure that the Voodoo man can keep her from changing to her altar ego. So that is proably why they didnt take her and took Nathan instead. Good Point.
"Save the cheerleader" from her dad to "Save the world" because she is the key to stopping the bomb. But How?
If she gets nuked, can she just put all her atoms back together again? Or did we see that if you rip apart her brain, she can be "permanently" incapacitated?
I aslo noticed that before he says "CLAIRE YOU HAVE TO START TRUSTING ME" she looks perfectly fine and healthy. But in between the "save the cheerleader/save the world" (i think thats it) we see Claire beaten. What did her dad do!??!?!
