here's my take on one possible meaning behind the scar remark from future Hiro. i think maybe future Hiro might possibly be alternate future Hiro. Maybe the Heroes didn't meet up in time to save New York resulting in Peter being scarred. I think Hiro maybe there to help push along the eventual meeting up quicker. Just my theory. Any thoughts??
Hiro showing up in the train has to be the best cliffhanger I have ever seen.
I am blown away by the storylines and character development. All the comic guys write the good shows(Loeb/Whedon).
Btw, it was Carol Danver/Ms. Marvel that Rogue stole her powers from...I quit reading when Grant Morrison took over(no talent hack) and started again when Joss made the X-men Astonishing again.
This is a great show, and I like there is such a wide variety on this forum to discuss it.
The Claire bit is kindof dark, but seriously cool none the less. I wonder is "saving her" means keeping her from the dark side?
"Save the cheerleader" from her dad, who soon is going to remove her brain, as he does for the other superheroes who don't give into his mind control powers.
Because the cheerleader is the only one who can stop the atomic bomb...
Seriously, this is the MOST excited I have ever been about a TV Show. It is AMAZING. I am a kid again, reading the best comic book in the world, full of wonder and amazement and excitement, eagerly awaiting the next issue.
I hope it never ends. Each of the first 4 episodes is better than the last. Here's to hoping they can keep it up all season!!!!
Maybe saving the cheerleader is saving Claire from herself. Perhaps she is being a little too careless by testing her powers. Perhaps she will think she is indestructable but, there is something she is unable to overcome.
what could Claire actually do to be so careless though?
She's jumped 75 feet, walked through fire and been cut open and had a huge stick in her head!!
I'm wondering what her kryptonite will be ??
And I thought the same thing about her dad, maybe he's just a good guy but in a comic book the villain doesn't wait that long to appear!
And all I really hope is that Matt (Mind Reader Cop) doesn't die or anything so soon !
eh...I dunno about decapitation or pierced heart. As far as I can tell it might only affect her if her brain is inoperable such as when the stick was through it.
WEll if you remember her side did not start to heal until she pushed her ribs back in on Episode 1. So it may just be if there is a foreign object impailing her she cant regen until she removes it.
I like the idea of Future-Hiro. I can only hope that Future-Hiro and Present-Hiro meet.
Most intriguing (sp?) parts of Ep. 4: Of course, Future Hiro. And Peter's realization that he doesn't have any powers, instead he borrows them, much like X-Men's Rogue before the whole over the top draining episode. Anyone remember whose powers she permanently drained?
I loved when Niki "snapped", that look in her eyes before she said "Niki's not here." I wonder what Hyde-Niki's name is?
Theory: Maybe HRG isn't really a bad guy. Maybe he's CIA or some such, looking for Sylar and in doing so, he's keeping tabs on these "genetic anomalies?" Just a thought.
This is the only Heroes forum I plan to join. Hope you guys don't mind!

I believe Rogue permanently absorbed Ms. Marvel's powers.

I think that "save the chearleader, save the world" means they need to save her from the shadow that isaak forsaw chasing her. The shadow could be sylar on a misson to take her brain and steal her power. Or maybe it's the creature on the cover of the comic book seen in the first episode. I'm also wondering when they are going to reveal who froze the guy solid in the second episode.
I would say her Kryptonite might be decapitation or pierced heart.
Yes, I definitely believe you are right. The only thing that could "kill" Claire would be severing her head from her body, or something to that extent that would normally render her dead. If that stick was left in Claire's head, she obv would not have come back to life. Reminds me of X-Men when Magneto "killed" Wolverine by ripping his skeleton from his body. Like Claire, the only way to kill Wolverine would be to somehow sever his indestructible skull from his indestructible body. Though invincible, the body has to exist as one entity, not two, meaning the head can't exist at the same time as the body if they are separated. They need to be together in order to fully function because the brain is the master of all operations, as well as the heart of course. So yes, I'd say that Claire's kryptonite would be decaption, or impalement through the brain or heart.
