I seriously doubt that DL is the one to go. I think the bullet has to go through him or something to that effect because in both the Canadian and US previews, there is a shot of DL, Niki and Micah in NYC. So if DL dies, it's not because Jessica shot him.

I also doubt that Hiro bites it because we know that George Takei is going to be appearing as Hiro's father, trying to bring Hiro home, I believe.

Sarcastic note - I also think that we all know that NYC is not going to blow up.

Peter being on the ground and looks up with a "What the hell?" look on his face - The evil Peter theory is really interesting. but Sylar's ability isn't that he's evil so I don't see how Peter would absorb 'being evil'. However, in the Canadian trailer, it does look like Matt is trying to prevent Peter from going near DL, Niki and Micah. Also, in the US version, Isaac seems to be restraining Simone and it would make sense that she was trying to reach out to Peter. BUT, I'm wondering if somehow (really, it would make sense) HRG and the Haitian get ahold of Peter to mind-swipe him so that he forgets about Claire and that's why he's all dazed and confused. One of HRG's main goals is that Claire remains a secret. And HRG gets Peter, and say, Claire walks in on it or figures it out this could explain why the Haitian grabs Claire and asks her if she can keep a secret. Perhaps Claire is actually the one seduced to join sides with HRG? She would already be loyal to him because he's her father and she really doesn't know any better...

Also, if HRG and the Haitian are preoccupied with Peter and Claire, perhaps that's why Sylar can snag Eden and get her to turn the gun on herself... a little retribution since Eden is the one that brought down Sylar. The Haitian isn't around to control Sylar's powers. It looks like they removed the global preview off of You Tube. Was there something on there that we weren't supposed to see? I'll be it was the scene with Sylar, Eden and the gun, thus giving away that Eden is the one that dies. She gets my vote as the one who dies and if Sylar is the one that ultimately kills her, will he take her brain and get her power of persuasion? That would really set his powers over the edge. But if the bullet pierces her brain and damages it, I wonder if that would make her brain and powers unable to be gained by Sylar.

My biggest question actually isn't 'who's going to die?' but - How in the hell does everyone get to NYC (especially Claire in her cheerleading uniform)? Assuming that in the previews, all of the city shots are supposed to be in NYC, we see Matt, DL, Niki, Micah, Peter, Hiro, Ando, Isaac and Simone. If I think back, just about everyone is currently in Texas or some other state and I think it would be corny if they all banded together to travel to NYC...

I'm stopping now. Sorry so long, but once I got on a roll I couldn't stop!

But if you remember in one of the earlier episodes Mohinder and Eden found Sylars place and the "Secret Room" where there were models of brains and things, and if you remember his ability is he "Fixes" things, remember how he got the Telekinesis power? I believe its a certain part of the brain and thats how he may end up with Edens powers... well thats my theory anyways.

Seattlefan, I like your first idea of Peter getting captured by HRG/Haitian guy A LOT! After all, in the Canadian preview, we see Peter fainting on his own, which is very peculiar. However, how did HRG/Haitian first capture Matt? They drugged him, and he FAINTED. So yes, a very good possibility is that Peter is drugged, taken to the laboratory, studied, mind erased (in regards to the recent events which would be Homecoming night to the present). And finally Peter is replanted back where he lives - New York City. After all, Matt also sprouted back up where he lives (literally on his couch).

NOW I can explain the JACKET!! Okay, so they have Sylar and Peter in the laboratory at the same time, which is nuts, because it's the villain and the hero of the show. HRG does his normal studying of Peter, they re-dress him, and then send him back to New York. However, they decide to keep Sylar in the lab. If you notice, Sylar is wearing different clothes, which means HRG/Haitian guy removed them (more specifically his JACKET!). When Peter leaves the police station, he doesn't have his jacket anymore (I assume from the preview), probably because the cops took it for DNA testing. Thus, since Peter didn't have a coat, they gave him Sylar's when they shipped him back in New York!!!! WOOO!!!!

But hey, wait a minute. This nice favor could have been done either because they decided to be nice people and didn't want him to get cold, or because... ... ...

Since HRG is trying to do anything to protect Claire, maybe one way is to keep her away from everybody with a special power, and thus far, Peter is the only special person that Claire has come into contact with. By giving Peter Sylar's jacket to wear, maybe HRG is trying to manipulate her into thinking that Peter was actually the killer. Let's say that they mind-erase Peter... the only problem is that Claire would still remember him. HRG may try to convince Claire (and giving Peter the dark jacket to wear as bait) that Peter was actually the one in the locker room, and to stay away from him if she were ever to see him again.

This last part about why HRG would give Peter Sylar's jacket is just a theory in the making... but I think the main stuff about Peter being captured and why he's wearing a different jacket in the first place has great potential to be what we see unfolding in the next episode. What does everybody think? Smile

I am a Geneticist and I think that all this HEroes stuff is quite the truth hiding in the mist of all that sci-fi stuff. I am not quitting but if you ever heard of the 4th Gap in evolution. What Heroes portrays maybe the future 5th or 6th Gap possibility for some powers of the Heroes but others like mind reading has already been done! You can all call me Dr.Adam and yes I have super powers but they are not strong like Ted's for example or Hiro's. new

Maybe Peter can afford to have more than one coat. I do think HRG could try to mind wipe Pete to protect Claire, but, you are right then he would have to mind wipe her too. Not to sure how far he would go to protect her, hes shown us that he will go pretty far but to alter the one hes trying to protect would be losing site of the goal i think............Hey is it Monday yet?

I knew the NYC sequence was bothering me for some reason. Especially how everybody gets there. I'm sure everything in the episode will still be amazing, but I confess to being slightly disappointed... did I actually just say that???

he wasn't wearing a jacket... he had on an over coat... in the global preview... nathan visits him in jail... it most likely is nathans overcoat he has on... cause the police took his bloody clothes...

sylar explaining his ability even tho they never say how he gets it into his dna but they do make reference to it
