It looks like Hiro is "lost" in the past. So by they saying a hero is lost. Can he just be lost in time? They do like to play with words. But if someone were to die, I have a gut feeling it's Eden. From that quick Canadian promo clip, it looks like Sylar got his hands on her. If I were him, I'd take out the only other Hero I know, who has the power to stop me... but that's just me. I wish I saw the Canadian promo Sunday, so I wouldn't be bugging out waiting for Monday so early.
I think HRG's power is that he's immune to the powers of the other hero's (for example when Eden tried to persuade him to free herzelf)
When Eden was trying to persuade HRG to set her free, Haitian was in the room nullifying her powers. Afterall, we know that he can do that considering (1) He nullified Matt's powers in the bar when Matt tried to read his mind, and (2) he was trying to nullify Matt's powers in the laboratory. If we remember HRG says, "Trying to hear my thoughts Matt? Not with my friend here. He’s special too.” That's why Eden's power did not work against HRG. At this point, HRG has helped Eden's life out so much that she wouldn't dare use her powers against him. Besides, she knows that she is the subordinate to HRG/Haitian guy now and probably wouldn't want to cross him in fear of what he'll do to get back at her.

But why didn't Eden's powers work on the younger Dr. Suresh before he left New York the first time? Obviously, HRG did not want him to leave? So, does young Dr. Suresh have nullifying powers too?

If your talking about Mohinder Suresh, then her powers might still be working, because she never said, "You're not leaving," she said, "You will come back!"
Gotta catch small things like that, but honestly I don't believe she used her powers on him, because "The Voice" didn't resound when she told him that.

Sorry, I am talking about Mohinder (and I do need to buy a bigger Hard Drive for that darned TiVo, I haven't saved any episodes). HRG seemed pretty peeved when Dr. Mohinder Suresh left NY with dads ashes.
And honestly, they've only started doing the voice thing in the last couple of episodes (of course, there is no telling, when amd in what order they were filmed).
I may be going out on a little bit of a limb here, but there is just something too peculiar about Peter and his demeanor in both the US and Canadian previews. Here is why I think so:
1) In the Canadian preview, at 0:06, it looks as if Peter faints.
2) In the U.S. preview, Peter is seen lying face down on the sidewalk. He then gets up as if he has just woken up. What's even more peculiar is that he is looking around, and the look on his face is one of "How the HELL did I get here?"
3) In the Canadian preview, RIGHT as it begins, the look on Peter's face doesn't seem right. It's an expression that we haven't really seen before - it has a hint of 'evil' to it. I know this may sound a little ridiculous considering that it's only for a split second, but watch it (over and over again) and let me know if anybody agrees at all.
4) This may be really far fetched in itself, but I think it's really weird that he is wearing a jacket almost identical to Sylar's dark blue jacket. There is a button by the collar as we can see in the US preview. I've gone back to the episode when Sylar tries to kidnap Molly Walker (the little girl) and have paused it and watched it in slow motion a bunch of times. Because of the lighting, I could not see the collar of Sylar's jacket well enough to notice a button, but the overall aspects of of Sylar's jacket and Peter's jacket seem to be the same (both are dark-bluish, and both are about the same length, quality, and looseness on the body). Could this have something to do with a confrontation between Peter and Sylar, and Peter momentarily becoming evil? After all, Tim Kring does tell us in an interview that there will be a point where Peter will have to decide whether to use his powers for good or for evil. Call me crazy, but I think the whole jacket thing is too much of a coincidence for it to just be a "coincidence."
Well, we shall see soon... what does everybody think?
I will only add one counterpoint to your evil Peter theory Popkorn: Peter NOW knows what his power is and how it affects him, so maybe that's not Peter......... Or if it is Peter, and he thought he could control the power, he was very wrong?

My personal friend (known as McChaney in the Superhiro forum) and I were discussing this. A really smart dude himself, I asked him if he thought the jacket was just a mere coincidence and his response was "absolutely not." Perhaps it really isn't Peter - could Sylar have obtained a shape-shifting power and altered his form to look like Peter? Or if it is Peter, could it be possible that he has come into contact with Sylar again and this time absorbed more than just the physical abilities of Sylar (i.e. a part of Sylar's psychological mentality, thus making Peter temporarily evil)?
In regards to what you mentioned about Peter not being able to control his powers, it was rumored that Peter himself may actually be the bomb by coming into contact with Ted, and because Peter does not know how to control his own powers yet (or even Ted's for that matter), he ends up blowing up the city... unless of course Hiro can find a way to "stop an exploding man" as he says in the Canadian preview.
AHHHHH four days is tooooo long to wait.... and then to top that off another month or so waiting period.
The Haitian may reveal to Claire, that HRG is *special* as well. Less likely the secret is about HRG's work or the organization they are working for or which HRG is leading.
I think HRG's power is that he's immune to the powers of the other hero's (for example when Eden tried to persuade him to free herzelf)
Yes, that could indeed be HRG's abililty, but on the other hand, he was always with the Haitian when facing another hero, and we still don't know what his ability is all about (only mind-erasing or surpressing other's powers as well).
Another possibility about the secret, the Haitian will tell to Claire: He may know something about her real parents, or what happened to her (where her power came from). But that is also less likely, because why should he know such things, if he is not in charge. So as the most likely possibilty, the knowledge about HRG's powers remain.
It hasta be Issac or someone who's been with him... remember at the begginning of the season, when Hiro goes into Issac's paint workshop and theres the people dead all around. What do you think?
I have a quick question about what Claire says in the Global preview. She says "it's kinda like body snatchers." What could that mean? Maybe Peter gets possessed by something and that is why he goes evil. You guys catch that at all?

Wow, yankowsky02, I heard Claire say that in the preview, and I posted that evil-Peter idea myself, and I didn't even realize to connect the two! Great proposition!!
