How Cool Is This?! Alias' David Anders May Come to Heroes

Okay, Alias fans, how mind-blowingly fantastic would this be?! Reliable inside sources connected to NBC tell me that David Anders, the ridiculously talented actor who played the ridiculously awesome Mr. Sark on Alias, is in final talks with Heroes to play a new character named Kane for the upcoming second season. You heard me. Alias' Sark. On Heroes. Two of TV's best-ever shows colliding. Can you stand it?! Now, apparently, the final word has not yet come down. So, I, for one, will be crossing my fingers and toes all weekend and praying to my Heroes good-luck charm (the roulette ball from my infamous two-word stint) that we'll get David Anders in the Heroes mix next season, 'cause he would make the show all the more kickass in every way. Anders will play the most intriguing part, that of the ancient samurai warrior Takezo Kensei, Hiro Nakamura's (Masi Oka) childhood hero. Hiro spent most of the first season trying to get a hold of Kensei's sword, which he hoped would help him in his quest to save the world.

I dunno HG, but I'm going to be skeptical until the season actually starts. After all, I've seen casting spoilers telling us that he's going to be Kane, and others saying he's going to be "Kensei", and still more telling us he's Takezo Kensei...

I don't know if the entire character is going to be a crossover. Kane/Takezo Kensei/Kensei is all one character with multiple descriptions, or if there's just a ton of disinformation going on..

After all, as AcidBurn pointed out in another thread, Kensei is a title. It's Japanese for "Blade Saint". Thus, there could be quite a few Kensei about in feudal Japan. I'm also thinking that Takezo is going to be another honorific, one that denotes a very powerful Kensei, thus setting him (her) apart from the rest. So my thought that Kane could be Kensei could be a valid idea, even if it is a bit on the "out there" side..

That would very cool
