Hey, don't get me wrong . . . I respect Chuck Norris. Didn't the dude study with Bruce Lee? I mean, that says it all. He could, if he so chose, kick my ass from hither to yon. But the guy cannot act. He cannot sing. He can sell the heck out of some Total Gym's (or whatever they're called) and kick ass; that's about it. I do have to admit that I love it when Conan O'Brien breaks out his Walker: Texas Ranger clip "machine". That always cracks me up!!

Of course Chuck Norris can't act,
he's a martial arts expert.
What is required to achieve the full enjoyment
of any martial arts movie
is the same thing it takes to enjoy a cartoon,
the willing suspension of belief.
You would not complain about the Daffy Duck
surviving an anvil dropping on his head would you?
Nor should you question a large bearded guy
who delivers all his lines like a wooden indian
kicking bad guy butt and never getting into trouble
with with his department's internal affairs or the ACLU.

I concur Zone!

After all, if we were to believe that Chuck could do all those things, then you'd see folks voting _him_ for Governor of Texas, instead of making just a Marshall..

Heck, you can see just how mixed up California is. After all, they tend to believe the stuff that they put on the Silver Screen. If they didn't, then they'd never have voted Arnold as Governor. However, once the Governator gets his special effects crew on track, we'll see California become the fairyland that it's always supposed to have been!

I say that we should write Chuck in this next election for President...

After all, he can't be much worse than GW or Bill, or Hillary, could he? How much more is there to mess up? By my estimation, not much.... eek

Thank you, Evil Pixie. This makes me wonder if Chuck Norris might indeed have some sort of power: the power to make people think he doesn't SUCK!!!!!

Yeah! It could be like that shot from The Grudge where she's in the shower, and that hand starts to reach out from her skull, but it'd be a fist from his chin! When you least expect it, the fist can strike!!
