HalfLife 2 - and the whole Orange BOx. I wish I didn't have so much to do, and could get into the new episodes of Halflife, but it is the best storied FPS of all time.

2nd - Advance Wars DS I still play it all the time.

Final Fantasy (all of them really). Metal gear solid (again all of them). And Call of duty 4 is an amazing gaming experience.

Fire Emblem, Metroid, and the Legend of Zelda.
especially Fire Emblem 7Blazing Sword(known as plain old Fire Emblem in the US, though it is really the 7th one), it has a wonderfully dramatic storyline and deep, real characters, great strategy gameplay too.

And LoZ Ocarina of Time speaks for itself. It is amazing that such a transition into 3d Zelda games could be made.

EDIT:And I am currently playing LoZ Phantom Hourglass. The ease with which anyone can control the touch screen is great, and there is plenty of hidden treasure, though not quite as many islands as I'd like. The cutscenes are moving and pretty funny at times, too.

I'd have to say that I'm hooked on two games right now.

I've got Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 for my 360, and unless something really important (like my job) interferes, I'm usually found camped out in front of my TV trying the latest gig..

Rock Band is my favorite. After all, I've got so many friends who come over to join and rock out with my "homemade" band that we really have a great time!

I'd give them both 5 stars!
