I'm looking for a new, funny avatar (and also ideas for a custom title-thingy, but Jorm suggested I wait til I find my avatar, so I'll take his advice. He's smart and stuff. Wink

).

Anyone know of a good site with lots of avatars? I've googled stuff, but I'm not liking what pops up. I'm not looking for anything specific, I just want something funny. I tend to have a strange, random sense of humor, in case you haven't picked up on that yet.

Glad to oblige! My Hard Drive is full of Avatars!

Ever since Slippy threw down the gaunlet challenge on the The Avatar above you Game, I have been looking for avatars like crazy. Right now, I am trying to make Animated ones. But it's kinda hard to make ones that are less than the 24KB limit!

Once the season starts though, I am either going back to my Avatar of Hiro, or using Bato from "Ghost in the Shell" again (unless you guys like Spike or Jet from "Cowboy Bebop"?).

Obviously, my current Avatar from FLCL (Fooley-Cooley -- it's weird Japanese Anime) nobody gets, as nobody got the one I used from "Spirited Away". I think Jorm called it the worm flying thingy! It's actually the dragon spirit. I should use the dragon spirit, just to spite Action Figure who doesn't believe that there is going to be a dragon in "Heroes"!!!

Hehe. Thanks for all the links, Herc! Now I've gotta sift through everything and find something that fits my twisted sense of humor, like my first avatar (the cow and the burger, hehehe).

Yeah, my funniest avatars are animated, but they're all way over the file size limit. It makes me sad inside. Sad

Edit: Sweet MOSES do they have Final Fantasy avatars! *drool...twitch twitch*

Although, I hear Photoshop (which I don't have) is pretty good also!

I've been able, so far, to compress a 96x96 pixel GIF (at 48KB) down to 33KB, but I am still over limit. Sad

I'll keep trying though!

BTW, Obsidian! I loved your original Avatar!!! yeah

of course, this being a board of responible adults, i couldn't possibly tell you how to get it o_O

but if you send me the links for the avatar(s) you want i'll resize them for you; should take me all of 5 seconds to do

You also might want to ask Acidburn133 for help. She is a great artist. I don't know if she'd be willing to put in the effort, but asking won't hurt anyone!
