According to Freud, probably because the subconscious connects pink with sex.
According to me, because its pretty, easy on the eyes, and a way for girls to assert their femininity.

On a rainy thursday, if you're a bus driver and you have 26 kids, and you pick up 5 kids at the first stop, drop 3 off at the next stop, and then drop another 7 off at the next stop, what color are the bus driver's eyes?
