Yeah. Back when I used to be able to get away and hike more often, I had this great spot out on Mt. Rainier that I used to run off to and camp out for a few days..
Close to a lake, also close to a creek and waterfall, perfectly shaded on one side, and nice open earthy area for a great firepit on the other side. Plenty of trout in the water, and lots of raspberries and such next to the site as well...
I used to take girlfriends and such up there on rare occasions, and I'd make the attempt to get out there at least once a month just to unwind. Summer Spring and Fall were great for hiking and enjoying the outdoors, and Winter was great for skiing and innertubing!
Anyway, that's my dream spot. It's still there, but I don't get to it nearly as much as I used to. I'm hoping that it'll rub off on one of my kids, and they'll make it their own someday!
Do you think we're one of the few left here on the boards right now? |

I think with the show on hiatus, people just don't visit it.
Your dream spot sounds awesome btw!
What affect do you think the writer's strike has had on Heroes? |

I'm hoping that with the strike, they've had a chance to go over the storyboards again, and have made the storyline more fluid again.
I'm also hoping that they get the chance to get back on track like they were in Season 1... Tell a few stories, but get everyone involved in _each_ story, and not just toss in a storyline here, and a plotline there just to fill a weeknight time slot!
Anyway, I hope they're able to seriously learn from their mistakes of last Season, and build it back up to where it had been at the end of Season 1!.
We'll see....
Do you think the show is going to come back as strong as ever, or is it going to need to rebuild some of the audience because of the weak showing in Season 2? |

Honestly, I think it's going to have to rebuild some of it's audience. I don't think there's a buzz around the show that there used to be! I think the writers strike and the short season 2 have killed the momentum the show had from season 1.
Do you think the show will ever be as popular as it was during season 1? |

If they're REALLY smart with season 3, it could very well be.
HOWEVER!
They need to fix the "bugs" they had back in season 2, and generate that tempo that they lost at the end of season 1.
Do you think that the scattered ending of season 1 resulted in some of the disjointed storytelling for season 2? |

Not really but I guess it could've. I think there are other factors that lead to that!
Do you think they will introduce several new characters in the next volume? |

They could, but I don't think they've yet sufficiently taken care of the "new" characters that they introduced this last season.
I could see them bringing in about two or three new "major" characters, but any more than that, and they'll have the same problems as they did last season with too much story to tell, and not enough time to tell it...
Do you like the direction that the GN is taking? |
