Hmmm...that's an interesting theory! I've not heard of that one before. Am I right in thinking, that this is an ability that we haven't seen before? (Not just on Heroes, on anything else, like X-men, etc?) Is there any thing else you can say about this ability to help me understand what you mean? I think that her ability is something to do with persuasion/mind reading. Maybe even an adaptation of Matt/Maury's ability. I'm not sure. We all saw how she changed Heidi's mind for her, and they made sure they did a close up, on her touching Heidi's arm, so I think I'm leaning more towards that.
i mean...she can make nathan heal, and claire fly, she TRANSFERS powers, or...she can make claire's soul/mind into nathan's soul/mind, swap them (like in freaky friday, like father like son) etc
Angelas has the ability to steal socks from deparment stores. However her getaway needs some improvement....as we saw in Season1 EP1.
just like Hiros dad HAD the ability to destroy evil sidewalks, and was showing off his power to Ando when he was pushed off the building by Adam. Take that sidewalk.
Seriously, i think we will never know their abilities, because that was an error on the writers AGAIN. I really so think that Tim Krings idea was to make Matts dad evil for this season, and introduce the original 12.
I think he got lost with the company, Adam-Hiro, and someone put in the virus. I say this because we heard from MOLLY in S1 finale about the boogeyman. But no one mentions a virus.
I love the fact that Maury's ability had grown so large, he could trap people in their minds.
and we know Linderman could heal with his hands.
-But we have no clue of Angela, or Hiros dad....and it would be very crappy if they just gave it to us in the next EP or the last EP. I was hoping when HIRO went back to see his dad, that in the conversation his DAD would have told him of his power to stress the importance of "not being a GOD".
But the writers Opted not to add any of his ability in that episode...and after seeing Angela..geez how many times so far....here and in the future..in jail...w matt...etc. We still have no idea. And another good moment could have been when she was telling matt about the past and Adam.."we were all specials".....ok MATT ask her...what can u do....NOPE IT DIDNT Happen..

"peter! you feet look cold, maybe u'd like these socks?"
"Where'd u get them from mom?"
"Sit down Peter, i have something to tell you"
"I dont understand"
"I said sit down Peter!!....I Haven't been entirely honest with you, for many years now. I have an ability to take socks from stores without purchasing them, its called sockleptomania, it means i steal socks"
"but wouldnt u get caught?"
"I always get caught."
And in Kaito's case, as he explains to his son, Hiro, on the roof of the Devaux building...
"Son, u must know before i get killed that i have a great power"
"What is it Father?"
"I Have the ability to demonstrate extreme examples of health and safety risk, like the edge of this building not having a hand rail to prevent people falling to their death, or a sign near that black ice"
"What black ice?...Whoa *Hiro slips over* Thats so un-yataa"

Well, if she can transfer powers or transfer minds between bodies, those abilities have both been explored before. Read a series of novels called Wildcards, edited by George R.R. Martin. It covers much the same ground as Heroes.
In Wildcards, an alien viral experiment affects a significant number of Earth's population. 90% of those affected die horrible deaths. 9% become mutated freaks. 1% are gifted with superpowers. It's an even more adult look at how people would behave and how the world would look if ordinary people had powers.
Some of those people were called Jumpers. They could move people's minds into other bodies. They were a street gang and did it to random people for fun.
Marvel comics has had a number of characters who could transfer between bodies or transfer peoples abilities. Most notably Proteus and Rogue.
It would be quite the twist...
for a 3rd party to have a body-switching ability who could use it on others without being able to use it on him/herself.
Though, I don't know how useful this power would be, unless as you say, she could make Nathan heal with Claire's ability, or allow Claire to fly with Nate's ability.
Personally, I'd much rather have a person be able to transfer his/her own soul into another, but Angela having this ability and being able to force it upon others is an awesome thought! Huge propssssss
Angela has had plenty of time to be able to use her abilities just in the short while we've been watching the show.
If she hasn't used that ability by now, what makes us think that she's got it, and is only using it sparingly over the course of a few decades?
I mean, come on.
Nathan's got an ability to fly. We've seen that ability quite a few times. Yet has it really been vital aside from the season finale?
No.
Angela has been manipulating our group since the start of season 1. I take that to mean that not only is she plotting and manipulating the group, she's also actively using her power and ability as much as possible to get her goals accomplished.
Do you really think she'd let YEARS of planning go to waste because one of her sons decided to grow a consience?
I don't.
Angela seems ruthless enough to be willing to do whatever it takes to get her goals accomplished, no matter what the cost.
A soul-switching power would be a twist... It could also lead to Peter's scar (whoever is in Peter's body gets sliced, but doesn't have regeneration)...
I don't think this is Angela though.
I still think she has the ability to see things without going there (potentially even in the past and future).
