So, according to Angela, her and Kaito had a fling.

Angela: You think I killed Kaito over money?
Matt: Most common motives are money and sex.
Angela: Well, I dont need the money, and I wasn't sleeping with him... not for a long time.

Some questions come to mind...

Was this just an affair behind the backs of others, or did this have to do with the Company?

Were the 12 heads of the Company trying to mate with each other to create offspring with abilities too? Were they trying to create "Maximum Potential," or was the birth of Peter between Angela and Papa Petrelli just a coincidence, considering that they were married with one son before Papa Petrelli and Linderman even met?

Will this fact be revisited again, or is this just a tidbit of information that was used to momentarily stir some unimportant thoughts in us viewers?

I'm thinking that somewhere along the line, The Company was trying to breed specials with specials to make more specials.

Thoughts?

Sound delicious to me! However, to me it seems that OWI wanted to do things for "The Greater Good"., so I'm closer to believing that they originally wanted to create cures to help humanity, but split when others and let's say the government wanted to use them as weapons... thus forming a split of good doers and evil doers...

i was gonna post something like this because that comment probably had the most effect on me of the entire episode. i think they were all trying to sleep with each other to try to create more specials. could she be hiro's mother? i think they will revisit this more because im pretty sure the older gen has a good understanding of breeding specials. remember linderman's comment about setting nikki and dl up? their offspring micah was vital to linderman's plan. i think they will explore this idea more but it raises many questions. why would angela even mention it? that kind of shows that it really wasn't too much on the dl. i wonder if we'll c super power sex on this show.

I never thought Candice posed as Nathan in Pete's dream.

It was that scene that let me guess (a couple MONTHS in advance) that Sylar would pose as Nathan.

When Candice showed up it was like all the pieces of the puzzle fit.

I still wrapping my head around this. Maybe it was some kind of breeding program, because I'm having some trouble imagining any chemistry between them. I wonder if there was a child.

I need more information on this before I can throw any of my ideas out there. I personally, at the moment, believe it was a fling and nothing more. Angela seems pretty conniving, and like the type of woman that would sleep with who she needs to in order to get what she wants done. Angela is more than likely the person that Linderman was referring to when he said that people got greedy (paraphrased).

If we learn, later on, that Angela slept with Charles and Bob and whoever else... then okay, I might buy into it. But I'm not quite ready for people to go shouting out that Peter could still be Linderman's son. Especially since all the other kids were kept by their fathers and not Angela, save Peter who, if Linderman's son, was adopted into the Petrelli camp.

It definitely makes you wonder who's the real parents of some of these heroes. I like the idea of a supers breeding program, however, it could also be that Angela was well... a swinger too.... lol

How about this one...just throwing it out there...

Kensei can heal as we know now. At some point (after he does his thing in ancient Japan) Hiro teleports himself and Kensei into the future (on purpose or accident) to about 40 years prior to the current show time.

He meets Mama Petrelli as a big corporate magnate (which we know the symbol represents now), they marry and have two boys. She may be a super, but also could just be the bearer of the gifts to her offspring.

Kensei can heal (at the least), and so can his granddaughter. He could also have lived all this time without dying and not had to teleport.

And, ultimately he is the mastermind in eliminating the "9" along with some helpers.

We'll see!

Linderman could heal others, not himself.

And we've seen a young Linderman in the GN. Its definately not him.

i threw it out there as a joke before that kensei could be papa petrelli but dont think he is. i think it was in the new behind the eclipse wher they say abilities are a crap shoot of sorts. i was thinkin maybe kensei and claire were related at first because of the whole healing thing but specific abilities are not necessarily passed through offspring. special abilities as a whole seem to be but not necessarily similar powers. ie nathan and west are not related.

Yeah, I agree about the whole passing-down of abilities thing. The fact that Claire & Kensei can heal, and Nathan & West can fly, confirms in my mind that neither pair are related to each other.
