Just watched the scene from "Out of Time" again where Angela helps Peter "remember" everything he's forgotten. "You Need To Remember..." we hear her say in an echoing voice, and all of a sudden Peter remembers everything.

Angela's power would be more evolved than the Haitian, much like Maury's power is more evolved than Matt's. Tying this in with the Yin & Yang Theory, could Angela be the evil version of The Haitian with the ability to not only remove memories but then put them back if she chooses?

SH, I posted someting similiar to this in the Episode thread. I'm thinking you could be right. I'm not sure yet if she is evil or not though. I guess I'm still holding out hope she isn't. I too though she helped Peter remember things though. I'd still like to know why the Haitian was working for her in Season 1. Is he a double agent or something? Even if she didn't specifically help Peter, it could still mean her power deals with memories as Peter would absorb her ability, and maybe she just prompted him to recall memories. Interesting though cause she survived in the future, so I guess they stopped Adam from killing the original 12.

Wasn't that just a case of Peter reading her mind and her remembering his life with her? His ability was used, she just made him use it...all the images were things with her, so it looks like he just mind read to me...

Initially, I would have agreed with you, but now I interpret that scene differently. In the end, he only remembered things she knew (as in, he didn't recognize Adam Monroe at the end of the show). I think he used Parkman's ability to read minds and she was simply recalling every encounter she had with Peter, as all of the "memories" he regained included her. She may be very similar to Sylar in that she knows how the powers of others work, but doesn't kill them to use them herself.

Clarification on my "she might be like Sylar" statement:

She may have the ability to recognize those with abilities and to know what those abilities are and how they can be used. I've always had the feeling that all roads go through Angela Petrelli and I haven't been able to figure out why. I also can't figure out why Peter had visions of the future prior to meeting Deveaux, so I've always thought that was Angela's ability. She also said she could do what another hero on the show could do, but she could just get from point A to point B faster. I initially took that to mean that she was like Issac, but could just see the future rather than having to paint it. Now, I am beginning to wonder if she is like Sylar or Peter in that she can know and understand the abilities of others, but can do it faster than Sylar (has to open them up to see) or Peter (has to learn to control the ability). At any rate, she may have been the one who taught the original 12 how to maximize their abilities because she could see their true potential before they could. It would also explain how she has known about Peter and Nathan longer than they have and how she knew Parkman was in her head and could make him hear what she wanted him to.

I don't know if it's necessarily her power. It just looked like Peter was reading her mind and recalling her memories as pictures rather than voices. Like it's been said, he only recalled memories with her. Nothing about Adam, Nathan, his father, or even the Company (at least that we were shown).

I don't think I'd want her to have that power, to be honest. Something like intuitive aptitude, like Hatcher suggested, could be more interesting, IMHO. I still think she has a type of clairvoyance or precognitive ability, but that idea hits a snag when you bring up that she really doesn't seem to know that Peter is alive.

I said this in another thread (somewhere) but it seemed to me like Peter read his OWN mind, since if he was reading her mind she wouldn't have been in the memories. (Because she cant see herself through her own eyes)

he was probably using a combo of matt's and the haitian's power. remember the haitian's ability has expanded and he can pull out specific memories and see them like the haitian did with ivan.

yea, im agreeing with the "he used matt's power" because of the sound effect, and the way he looks "down and away" from the person he's listening to, but they have that camera angle to where u see the person he's listening to in the corner. they use it when matt uses that abilitiy. I think she was just remembering HER memories (because she wasnt restoring his really, he didnt remember and memories where it was just him+other ppl, he only remembered ones about her) and then he "saw" them.
