I think the writer Greg Cox was hired at some point to write for heroes. I think he wrote some GNs or he gave his input on the story arcs.He has wrote several novels for marvel, DC,stark trek, underworld, 4400, xena, Alias, Roswell, ,..etc. However, even if he never wrote for heroes, take a look at the comic book GN styles.

However, since he wrote some very good stuff for under world, i thought i would point out what i noticed about his characters.

Underworld

A hungarian warlord watches his village ravaged by a plague. The plague mutates him and he becomes immortal.

Years late, the man has three children. Two of his children are twins and inherit his immortal strain.

Years later, with his wife Helena, he fathered three children, two of whom inherited the immortal strain in its active form: twin brothers Marcus and William. Marcus was bitten by a bat and became the first vampire. William was bitten by a wolf and became the first Lycan. William became a savage beast that was unable to ever assume human form again, something Alexander attributed to his uncontrollable rage. Marcus and his vampire army (led by Viktor) captured his brother William and locked him in a secret prison for over 500 years, the location of which was kept from Marcus. When Viktor ordered his vampire daughter executed for becoming impregnated by a Lycan, he inadvertently touched off a centuries long war between werewolves and vampires. Alexander chose to keep the war contained from ever spilling into the mortal realm. He hired humans to clean up after the battles and to help conceal their existence from the normal human population. Alexander states in Underworld: Evolution that he believes he and his sons were oddities of nature, and that the world is not theirs to conquer but belongs to the humans. He refuses to help Selene and Michael Corvin kill either of his sons, and refused to help Marcus free his brother from prison.

If you read the info , you will realize that a immortal had twins.

His twins started a new species of super humans.

Adam had two kids in milan, italy.

Did i mention he had some ..... inspiration or he helped write something to do with heroes. Heroes writers are previous or current marvel writer like joseph 'jeph' loeb.

'nuff said.

I hope that is enough clues.

Basically, marvel writers are inspired by each other and kring does draw from other stories.

The nine , the bible, historical legends, ...etc

Some of the ideas are coming from hindu, chinese, norse, greek, and egyptian mythology.

Here is a example from the staff

Bingo.

Good work, Andrew. You have discovered one of our many influences in creating this series -- We knew you guys would find it. The question that we now have to pose to you is how this affects this series? Is it something that you've already seen? Is it something you're going to see? Keep working and looking.
