This is one of those graphic novel issues that actually furthers the plot. And boy, does it give us some back story and even some answers.

Adam says he has "a few dozen names" one of which is "Richard SANDERS." Now in the Heroes world, nothing is a coincidence. So looks like he could be the ancestor of Niki. But, when we look more into the story, Adam doesn't say he has any children with his more recent wives. He also states that "I don't like children" after his second wife in Italy. Although this could have been where he used the name Sanders.

Now to another big discovery. Adam married another woman "Trina." She also remarried after him and had children and grandchildren. This person has to be "Nana" Dawson. This would be another reason that Mr. Linderman, Adam's disciple would obsess over D.L.'s life. and also Niki Sanders life. I mean what other perfect match would that be, Adam Monroe's great-great-grand daughter (maybe) and his lover's family member. The only problem is that this Trina supposedly died in a car accident.This could have been a cover up planned by the company though. Another detail is that D.L. was born a year before Trina and Adam married.

It seems like a stretch...but all these connections make a good amount of sense between the name origins and the obsessions of Linderman.

And finally...who does everyone think is Adam Monroe's newest wife? It was someone that he met in between February 2007 and March 20, 2007. I seriously have no clue who it could be. It is probably some new character. And for once, it is almost officially confirmed that Adam will escape. http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/jpgs/chapter66_06.jpg
He's certain she will find him, so she must have powers (possibly clairvoyance), and maybe she will even be a new villain in the next volume...

2 things i hate, the reference to sanders at the beginning, which was like IN YOUR FACE...and the black woman (not that she's black, but the fact that they're making hints to sanders relations, the gramma)

the only thing i liked was the story...AND...NEWEST BRIDE!? who could it be...

i hope its someone...omg

Who knows? After all, Angela's been acting wierd as well. What do you think? Angela taking Adam as her second husband?

I doubt anyone in allegiance with the company would be marrying their worst enemy. Angela was almost killed by Maury Parkmen. Adam wanted all of the founders dead, and almost succeeded. His new wife is probably some new hero he met during the time after his escape.

Another reference to "12" with his dozen different names.
Richard Sanders as the only new name, hinting at the obvious.
Only referenced two sons.
--- Does anyone have any screenshots of the Sanders-Hawkins coupling plot shown by Linderman?
Did not seem to realize that he did not age until going from Japan to Germany.
We still do not know how he originally got to Japan.
Or the identity of the new wife.

Another telling point is that Yaeko had children- I'm figuring that Hiro would've been the father instead of Takezo.

I doubt they would be either Hiro or Adam's children. From what we saw of the show, Hiro's relationship with Yaeko wasn't that involved. Plus, knowing Hiro, he wouldn't have risked creating a rift in time by having children with someone from the past. Even just a kiss, Hiro says shattered time. Yaeko probably just married someone else later in life.

I just looked at pictures from the Linderman archives and there really isn't any revealing information. So, no help there for now...
