Just recall Claude's training sessions with Peter, trying to get him to pull skills from his body. Showed an understanding of how empath's skills might work. Perhaps even a practiced understanding. Clear to me that Peter is not the first, and that the question is - who was (or were) and what happened to them. R
I definitely think that Claude was referring to mimics and not 'specials' in general. He had a clear understanding of how Peter's ability worked, and the context in which he said those quotations definitely signified that he has been around, and maybe even trained, some mimics in his day.
And that theory about Adam being Angela's father is awesome, Rob. I like how you connceted the quotes from the preview to make them more than what they seem to be.
However, here's a thought - if there really is a Generation 1 mimic, perhaps Angela tells Peter he's the strongest one of them all because the Gen 1 mimic has been killed, which could mean that Arthur Petrelli was indeed a mimic. Just some food for thought
However, the only counterargument has already been made:
For many reasons, AND if Angela is that other Empath, she could have said he is "the most important and most powerful one: because:
(a) She does not want to fight this fight;
(b) She is not that empath, and indeed, Generation 1's empath has met his END.
Alternatively, Peter is INDEED MAXIMUM POTENTIAL -- the POWERS ARE ONLY HONED in the SECOND GENERATION and of all the specials, Peter has all of them, so regardless of how powerful Generation 1's empath might have been, Peter WILL ALWAYS BE STRONGER.
And note, I never suggested that Adam Monroe is an Empath. Adam/Kensei can heal. That's all. And he's pissed enough to want revenge.
Yeah... I watched that video last night, too. Still wonder how Drucker fits into it. He's a more powerful version of Hana. We won't be seeing Hana anytime soon, but we will hopefully see Drucker. If anyone is a good source of secrets and reveals on previous generations I bet it's him.

PK- I agree... It seems that Peter flew back down to save Nathan (if the video only involved them). I doubt West would be there and I can't think of anyone else. Has anyone heard much about the yet to be introduced character Hype?
Also, regarding where Peter might take Nathan- that's another big question. Supposedly by Bob's timeline, Adam is still locked up. So I'm not sure how Adam would help save Nathan unless it occurs much later. Perhaps Nathan is scarred for a little while. Maybe Peter breaks Adam out to save Nathan. Later on Nathan get's wiped by the Haitian. Then, the company (Bob and Elle) finally gets hold of Peter (probably with Angela's help) and wipes him, too, but Adam is already on the loose. The immortal question though is if Adam's blood cures people then logically so would Claire's, but does this mean that Peter's would?
Regarding Claude and previous empaths. Claude worked for the company so I'm sure he is aware of the many different types of powers. He also would have been used to training people regardless of their power. So him saying "one of them" doesn't necessarily mean that there was one, but rather he was aware of the possibility.
Does the email from Hana mean that GN's and online stuff is still forthcoming during the strike? I guess we'll find out Tuesday morning for the GN.

Yeah I've been getting all of Hana's stuff, but I haven't updated because I can't find any interesting information. From what I've seen, the videos just explain what our brilliant minds have already figured out about the Shanti virus, and about viruses in general. They hint at bioterrorism and pandemics and such, but nothing really juicy.
