Jormengrund thats genius........i hope that if its sylar they make that connection in the show, because thats brilliant lol

but on the other hand i hope it isnt sylar thats adopted because it just sounds too easy to make him the one thats adopted.......if they were going to do that i think that they sould have mentioned it VERY early in season 2

even tho i HATE her charactor, i think it could be interesting if it was nikki that was adopted from adam??? i know its been mentioned from alot of people but that but if its written right it COULD....... just about justify her not being killed off

thoughts?

but the thing is witht the whole adoption thing is that it CAN only be a few because of their back stories and the only three i can think of is sylar nikki or maya?

Nathan, Peter, Sylar, Niki, Hiro, Mohinder, Claire.. there are quite a few that could possibly be serious twists for a plot of adoption.

Now, the reason I put Claire in there is this:

What if she really isn't Nathan's child?

Follow me.

Her real parents weren't Meredith and Nathan, and she was adopted by HRG, only to find out later that Claire really is his bloodline, just a mutated strain.. Maybe some kind of college fling he had before marrying his wife that Claire does know..

Anyway, I know it's twisted, but there's still the possibility..

Gah. I'm tired of trying to think of more reasons for certain behaviors. I want the show to start back up!!!

mohinder is def dr surresh's son he was born to hel shanti.....

i had a thought on mohinder and his power.......what if he didnt use the vial to gain a power, what if he just developed it.....his sister had a power so mohinder could quite of easily had one from birth but its just never manifested. that would leave the gate open for ando to steal the vial to gain a power Razz

Those character possibilities would indeed offer somewhat of a good twist to the series, Jorm.

IMO though, I don't really see the point of Nathan nor Mohinder being the adopted ones. Unless it was some very big twist, it would be one of those "Big Whoop" situations for me lol.

Peter/Sylar would be cool of course, Niki would be great because maybe we'll find out her relation to Adam, not to mention maybe some more info about Jessica and whether she had a power before she died as a kid. Hiro would be nice as well - especially if Kaito knew ahead of time that Hiro had one of the strongest abilities in the world - using his 'probability' he could probably decipher that his son would turn out to be a true Hero with the ability to bend space/time.

I like the Claire twist you offer - If Sandra did, indeed, give birth to Claire, they could have definitely mindwiped that from their memory. I would like it better for Claire to biologically be Sandra and HRG's rather than from a fling HRG had in another relationship. Regardless, that's genius thinking, Jormy.

I don't think Sylar is adopted, but I do think his father is Arthur Petrelli! (Ever realize that both Sylar and Peter's fathers are missing? Couldn't they be one and the same?)

My theory: Nikki was adopted and she has certain regenerative powers, but not like what we've seen Claire, Adam, or Peter. Hers are probably based on healing from her alternative personalities: Ex, she can't die as easily because all must die. If they remain separate in varying degrees, then the will all remain connected in some form, thus preventing death????????????? Just a thought........

thats a good thought..........we know now that claire cant die as sylar is quoted in saying that on a video......and the only way to stop her is to physically remove her brain

i REALLY dont want nikki to have ANY kind of regen ability because there is allready enough have it

but i do like where u went with the theory it would be a good storyline if regen wasnt as over used

I think that Peter being adopted is one of the most likely theories, I can't see Sylar being a Petrelli. If it did happen it would be a surprise to me, and the irony of it would probably make me burst out laughing.

They said we'll find out that there is actually two people that are adopted.

In the new teasers, they show Angela standing over Sylar telling him he is special and that he needs to be strong for wats to come. Considering that alone, im guessing that Sylar is her son. Then maybe Sylar and Niki are the ones who were adopted.

However....

I like the idea that he and Peter were brothers and were separated at birth due to the fear that they will tear the world apart, seeing that we've seen new paintings of the world being blown up. If this is true my guess is that Sylar and Peter were adopted.
