PAYQUAGE, i think it was a joke started in a post somewhere else, FATBOY posted the first reference i think, i found it quite humurous as are many of his posts. Maybe we should have a place to make light of the show......hmmmm a new thread maybe?

I don't think Sylar has anything to do with this. I think it's more likely that Hiro gets startled in the museum, and spins around with the sword only to find a T-Rex statue not moving. The audience gets a laugh, and a big "Ahhh, I see."

The boys prompt him to foretell what is to come in New York City, and Isaac's eyes go boiled-fish-white as his muse takes over. The result is a study that shows Hiro fending off a Godzilla-sized horror with a magical sword. from http://blog.meevee.com/my_weblog/2006/12/totally_frakked.html#more

When I first saw it, I was really concerned. It could go good or bad, but then, that goes for pretty much any storyline. I love the show so far, so I don't think it would be right to judge a story until I see it play out.

I hadn't thought about the museum possibility. That's definetly a possibilty.

Really, how many times have Isaac's hero-related prophecies shown exactly what we think they did, or shown the whole story? The picture we thought was of Peter flying off the edge of the building was of Peter leaping, he didn't fly until after plummeting a bit. The picture of Peter lying dead came true, but he didn't stay dead. The picture of Hiro and Ando under the Homecoming banner implies that they're part of the action, but they don't even get there until the next morning.

Hiro's comment about accidentally going back and getting eaten by a T-Rex, combined with this image (seemingly) saying the exact same thing almost guarantees that this painting will be fulfilled in some roundabout way, most likely the theorized museum angle.

I like the idea that someone suggested to me that the T-Rex is actually another Hero that has the ability to morph into different types of animals.

I think any morphing power would be limited so something of equivalent mass/size. If Joe Schmoe turns into a T-Rex, I'm not buying it. I know it's been done in the comics, but it was STUPID then. Now, I might by somebody with the power of Illusion making Hiro think he sees a T-Rex.

Well, what if Hiro screwed up his time travel so much he went to the prehistoric past? Also, Mo-Hinder-U, you can't just bring something up and say the reason it is bad is because it "is stupid".

Yet, Hiro must pull the sword from the stone, so to speak. No Hiro v. Trex without the sword from the future.

Step One-- Stop Time.

Step Two-- Filet T-Rex

Step Three-- Change pants
