So Tuesday night, I went to work. I was like, what the ... what are these people doing sitting in their lawn chairs? "Play Station" So I was was like, Oh, it's comming out tomorro. "No. It's comming out Friday." What the !!!!

Man, just last night, I was like, what the...Why are all the lights on at Target? They never have all the parking lights on nor do they turn on the Target sign light...oh yeah... The PS3 people

Anyhow, when I did get home, so were my brother and his wife.

Man, people were trampled, shot, robbed. But my area was pretty safe. And they say Cali is dangerous... wave

Sadly my plans for getting one of these fell through. We had people here camping out too for days, crazy stuff. I'm okay with waiting though, "Version 1" of these game consoles always seem to have bugs they need to work out.

I agree---it seems that they are trying to crank out so many systems for the launch that more errors occur. That is my rationalization, since I did not get one yet.

the PS3 over here (canada) is being sold for 600 bucks..

Im like no way man.. your not going to get that much money out of me.. that can pay my hydro for like 4 months.

I saw that some walmart in california was stupid enough to only get 20 consoles and like 100 people showed up.. talk about a riot. they had to kick everyone out and close the doors.

I agree with the "there's no way I'm paying 600 bucks for a console!" especially since they barely have enough consoles to fill their pre-order requirements. I'm in Canehdia too and at Rogers they had a sign warning people that they didn't have enough consoles so while they were trying to meet their pre-order requirements some people might still be out of luck. I thought that was completely ridiculous. Sony made a huge mistake on this one, what were they thinking, not even releasing enough consoles to fill the pre-orders? people shooting eachother to get their hands on a console? That's crazy talk. I don't want a console that bad, especially with the Wii-volution coming out tomorrow for half the price.

A gaming site cracked open the PS3 and tallied up the cost of the hardware inside, and found that the contents are so expensive that for every $599 unit sold, Sony is losing about $250 just in hardware alone. It's even worse for the $499 units, because the hardware used in those doesn't save them nearly $100 to make up for it, so every one of the cheaper units sold costs them over $300.

A great deal of this hardware cost is due to the $125 Blu-Ray inside. Sony must really be banking on Blu-Ray taking off.

A friend of mine works in Electronics in Walmart and said that each store could only guarantee 20 PS3s in stock when they came out.

Just get a XBox 360. This way you won't have to wait, and you will get a much better product. Especially if your into online gaming. Smile

The Wal-Mart by me only had SIX units & the next six got rain-checks for when the 1million+ units come out 3 weeks later, then there is to be another release between x-mas & New Year's of ANOTHER 1million+ units!!!

i bought my play 3 console a month ago and i paid it 300 euros more or less 280 dollars, it's a console very cool and the games are faboulous, anyone know if there will be a heroes's game?
