HOW THE HECK DO I CHANGE MY AVATAR??? question

I know you haven't had a chance yet to read my last post, so it's funny you had already posted this.

Go to the pull-down menu at BOARD and choose EDIT MY PROFILE. At the bottom, there is an AVATAR CONTROL PANEL. It shows what you're using now and offers some options.

1. UPLOAD AN AVATAR FROM YOUR MACHINE has a browse button so you can select the file. If you have a link to an avatar, use the next option (I'm not sure you could use it here anyway).

2. UPLOAD AN AVATAR FROM A URL is what you use if you have a link to an avatar somewhere else. It will load the avatar to the forum's server.

3. CHOOSE AN AVATAR FROM THE GALLERY gets you an avatar from a gallery on the forum's server. Click on SHOW GALLERY button to see what's available.

4. ENABLE DEFAULT AVATAR FOR YOU - well, I'm not sure what this is. I don't have YES or NO selected. I'm not using a default avatar, yet I didn't have to select NO.

And when you've done that, go back up to the drop-down menu bar (it's near the top of all superhiro.org pages), hover over "BOARD", and click on "FAQ".

Then, if you haven't already done so, pop along to the "First Impressions" forum and announce yourself to the board so's we can welcome you properly!
