Here's my theory:

In episode 4, Gabriel said the only reason he is able to control his hunger is because of his son. I think Gabriel falls in love, impregnates someone, that someone dies, and Gabriel has to become a single father. I think Future Sylar definitely still has the hunger, but the only reason it's surpressed is because he had to step up and act as daddy.

You heard it here first! The only way for Sylar to be "fixed" is for him to become a father. Nothing physical will be done to his body.

Well this season is supposed to be all about these characters "choosing a side": hero or villain. I mean, when I'm hungry, i can do without.... I don't have to enjoy it, but i can do it. And as for little Noah... well, there's other theories out there about him.... I don't think there is any "fixing" Sylar; it's just a choice he has made and stuck to in this possible future.

wow i actually hadn't noticed that Sylars son was noah! but now that you say it, the connection deepens!

sylar was living in HRG's house
named his son noah
heck he even loved the guys dog!

and this could explain why claire said sylar took everything from her... maybe he took her fathers attention too? HRG could have become consumed with helping sylar and claire could have felt neglected. Then maybe the event that changed sylar was actually the death of HRG? I mean its already been shown that Sylar becomes really attached to those who accept him for who he is and try to help him (look how quick he is to defend angela, even calling her mom)

I think Sylar simply wins HRG over with his good deeds and they become close friends. I am also expecting HRG to die in this series or the next, and in homage to his friend Gabriel names his Noah.

Im also thinking that the mother of Sylars baby could possibly be Elle

I think I agree with a lot of the "sheer will power" to overcome the hunger via the greatest power of all - love. I think it begins with Elle who will become the mother of Noah. I liken this to an addict overcoming his addiction through sheer will power, by believing in something greater than themselves - other people.

On a side note (which I've said before) Elle will be the mother of Noah and not only that, the legitimate daughter of Noah Bennett. (Only the company mind swiped him long ago to bring his 'powerful/ruthless' daughter into the fold.) Notice any resemblance in character? (Old Noah vs. more 'refined' Noah.) I also think this plays a big part in Claire saying "you took everything from me."

Bottom line: His hunger will be cured via his greater love for others beyond himself. (Noah/Elle, etc....)

Heh... I still call the theory that Future little Noah is really Present grown up Noah sent back in time by Sylar to fix things... Crazy, yes... impossible, no Wink
