I just wanted to mention that our little Hiro has really grown up. He still has that childlike exuberance, but now he's tempered that with the wisdom gained in his adventures. **sniff** Really makes me proud. His decision not to save his father, while somewhat contradictory to the whole "exploding man" scenario, was the right choice. He got to say his goodbyes.
Then we see he didn't leave his father, but stayed to find out who killed him. And it's Kensei!!! Now we have a REAL superhero/supervillain scenario. Yeah, Sylar's bad, he eats people's brain, WHATEVER. Hiro wounded this man's soul over 400 years ago, and he finds out that the same dude KILLED HIS FATHER. There is an epic fight coming, and I don't know what Hiro will do . . . this guy walked into a whole camp of dudes with swords, who could USE them, for crying out loud. How do you kill what u can't blow to bits? I have been gettin this eerie "Hiro's gonna die" vibe all season . . . could he be one of those marked for death by the (punk azz striking) writers? The only way I can see out of this for Hiro is if he progresses in his power. Could he potentially freeze one person in time? We're seeing many of our other heroes progessing in their power, and even Hiro in the dead on control he's developing. Is this a crazy idea? Hiro defeats Adam Monroe by freezing him in time, possibly forever. If it happens, u read it here first, my people.
Couldn't you just throw Adam in the deepest ocean trench with some concrete to keep him company? There are plenty of things like this that would "kill" him.
I guess if the brain is the key to all these powers (as has been evidenced by the actions of Sylar), then destruction of Adam's brain would certainly kill him.
He rarely bends space aside from to teleport, in fact aside from teleporting the only times he has bent space is his clock in the first episode, and Hope's bullet, which he didnt even realise he did. When you really think about it his ability is so much more than what he realises, he is essentially immortal just like Adam, Claire and Peter since he coulds always just bend time within only the space he is in and make himself as young or old as he pleases. in adition he could do this with anyone else as well. Imagine Hiro vs Sylar and Hiro makes sylar suddenly 3000 years old, poof Sylar's dust! Hiro has a truely dangerous and powerful ability.
If he rewinded himself, he wouldn't have any memories of events after his age. The relativity part of the power would be cool. I'm not sure how he would control the speeding up of time of Sylar's body, that seems like it would just give him super speed. He could theoretically freeze time for someone else, though, since he has shown he can include others in teleportation, so why not other time-space bending? He shouldn't need to touch people, either. Their atoms never really touch, it is more of a training wheels kind of thing, I think.
The writers are still playing with fire when they allow time travel. They seem to have stuck to some basic "rules" for Hiro's time-travel ability:
1. Never change the past.
2. Future is only used for information to affect *present* plot lines.
Yes, there are exceptions to these rules over the course of the two seasons, but in general if they stick to these rules they can somewhat make time-travel "work" with a minimum of paradox incidents.
It'll never be 100%, but it might make some sense over the longrun.

so far though time travel has been a key element to the plot, 5 years in the future episode was critical to altering the explosion. Hiro visiting Peter on the train altered the future, not excatly as he planned, but did the right thing.
Used smartly it's cool. Hiro's reluctance to use it needs to be emphasised though.
This is a reply to the "Hiro killing Adam" posts that were inappropriately posted in the Peter thread....
The easiest way to deal with Adam, and humane/forgiving too (if you care), would have been to transport him 1000 years into the future and leave him there.
The only possible downside I can think of is that there might be several time travelers in the future and one of them might transport Adam back, for whatever reason.
That method would basically erase him from existence, like what Peter did to Kaitlin. Once again, it is possible to save them, but it would be very difficult for anyone besides the original time traveler.
Now we've all seen present Hiro meet w/future Hiro... i always wondered... will Tim Kring ever put past, present, and future Hiro in the same time, same place w/the same sword? I'm sure its possible. Also when Hiro stops time in New York, does time stop everywhere in the world?
if he would stop the time in the future, the present and the past also wouldnt go on. But Present and Future could meet. The Past hiro dont know that he has powers
Wat i meant was, when hiro stops time in vegas at the casino, did time stop everywhere? Did it stop only in the casino, vegas, the world, the universe?
As for my other question, wat i meant to say and wat i think would be cool to do is, if they had present hiro go to the future to get future hiro and they go back to the past to get past hiro, and they all come back to the present to battle a very powerful villain.
