HRG waits in a cell. Claire appears in her cheer uniform. They hug, but HRG knows something is wrong. Claire is revealed to be Candace. Thompson enters. He lets HRG know that he is waiting for the order to kill HRG, Ted and Matt.
Linderman shows Nathan his art collection and then that he has the power to heal. Linderman heals a plant and it blooms.
Commercial
Matt is in his cell and begins to read HRG's thoughts. HRG says that Matt has to trust him and that he has been hiding Claire and wants to take the company down. Matt waits for his orders after signalling that he will do as HRG says.
Linderman tells Nathan that he wants his sword back. "We all have roles to play." Linderman preaches a future of peace. Linderman tells how the early metas tried to work together for good, but it failed due to some of the memebers greed. "People need hope". NYC is an acceptable loss. He shows Nathan the painting of Nathan as President.
Matt loosens a pipe and breaks out of his cell under HRG's directions. He clocks a guard with the pipe.
Peter is again entering Mohinder's apartment. Sylar attacks and cuts his skull. Peter heals and TKs Sylar across the room. Peter goes inviso. Sylar can't wait to try that out. Sylar TKs many fragments of glass in all directions. Peter is hit and dies. Sylar approaches his body and Mohinder smashes him with a rolling board.

Claire and Angela Petrelli- Angela has known about Claire and her power all along and has been keeping an eye on her. She tells Claire that she must go to Paris with Angela.
Sylar wakes up at Mohinder's apartment. Peter and Mohinder are gone and so is the list. Sylar finds a scrap with Isaac's address.
Issac's loft- Isaac is submitting his "final" edition of 9th Wonders to a courrier. He gives the courrier his sketch book.
Niki's house- Jessica is arguing with DL. DL says that he is taking Micah as he has realized that it is Jessica and not Niki. He calls her a killer as Linderman goons arrive for Jessica.
Primatech- Matt finds a jacket in a supply closet and hides as Thompson approaches. He discovers that the order has come down to eliminate HRG, Ted, and himself. He goes to Ted's cell and releases him as the alarm sounds.
Mohinder brings Peter's body to Angela's home and tells her that Peter is dead. Angela orders him away. She sees the corpse and cries.
Commercial
Jessica meets Linderman and he knows who Jessica is. He needs a favor--to borrow Micah. She says no, but he says, "the request was a courtesy". She insists that Micah is not part of the deal and challenges Linderman to try to get Micah.
Matt tells Ted to burn bright but not hot. He does and the power at Primatech goes out. He convinces Tthat they need HRG.
Nathan comes home. Peter is still dead. "He's not supposed to die this way". Nathan cries. Angela states that they will hide the death until after the election. Claire enters and sees her Dad. Peter's eyes are glossed over. Claire removes that piece of glass imbedded in Peter's head and he revives. "You saved my life...I guess we're even now."
Commercial
Peter is holding the shard of glass. Nathan says he doesn't know who he is without Peter. Peter tells him he should talk with Claire. He suggests that maybe Claire is there to save them, possibly stop the explosion. Angela enters and tells that she has known about their powers even before they did.
HRG, Matt & Ted are at a diner. HRG says that they can end it by destroying the tracking system in NYC. Matt asks about Linderman and HRG knows nothing. Matt realizes that HRG is middle-maand does not even know Linderman is his big boss.
Jessica picks up Micah early from school and introduces him to Linderman. "How would you like to save the world today?" Micah goes with Linderman and his goons. Jessica transforms into Candace. Jessica drives up and Candace leaves.
Mohinder has called Thompson, who is at Mohinder's apartment. He tells Thompson about Sylar and Peter and the fight. Thompson states that he and Mohinder need to be friends and work together.
Isaac's loft- Sylar enters and Isaac says "You're gonna kill me". This is the part where people usually start screaming. Isaac realizes that he cannot fight the future. Sylar pins Isaac to the floor with sharp paint brushes. "At least I've shown them how to kill you and stop the explosion, I finally get to be a hero." evil ticking...screams...
Commercial
Nathan uses the shard of glass to open the Mendez painting of him as President. Claire enters. He tells her that he wishes he could be there for her, but he can't. He has a chance to help a lot of people. She says "You need me to leave". He says just to go to Paris with Angela for a week, then she can return home to her family. They hug.
Sylar is painting in Isaac's loft, obviously he has consumed Isaac's ability.
5 years in the future--Hiro and Ando realize that they failed to stop the explosion. Ando suggests that they go back and fix it, now that Hiro has the sword. Isaac will know what to do, and he will be alive since the brain man has been captured. They teleport to Isaac's apartment, where they find a timeline of photos and news clippings. Hiro hears something/someone. He draws his sword and sees Future-Hiro.
"You?"
I was worried at the end, I thought it was going to be Sylar. Awesome episode. Looks like HRG's organization is connected with Linderman. No real surprise there. Can't wait for next Monday. One thing though. If Mr. Mendes saw the future and how to kill Sylar, can Sylar look into the future and figure out how he dies and avoid it?
Claire saved Peter! OK, we're not surprised, after all the speculation. I forget who called it - I had a prediction which was close, but someone else was right on.
When Mohinder first came to the door of the Petrelli house, I saw the cab in the background and wondered what cabbie would let a passenger bring a dead body. Then I got the great big DUH! (Mohinder is a cabbie, for anyone who also forgot or is new to the show.)
Candice faked being Jessica to get Micah to Linderman. I did NOT see that coming - although I should have suspected when Jessica seemed to have such a sudden and complete change of heart.
Mohinder and the Company - I thought Mohinder would be more careful about who he teams up with from now on. Unfortunately, I think that will continue, especially since the Company just lost one of their contacts in New York City.
Isaac is dead. Sylar has his power. Let the rumors of return/flashbacks/resurrection/alternate timelines begin!
Sending the paintings of Sylar's demise to The Company is the most logical move for Isaac. He trusts them, and I don't think he would trust Nathan that much, given his history with Peter. I briefly thought that Isaac might have sent the paintings out with the courier, but I don't know what the publisher would do with them.
Now we know the excuse for Ted to end up in New York City. I was hoping for more information about the tracking system, but they're making us wait. I liked the effects for the EMP. I'm sure at some future date I'll bore you all with a dissertation about it.
I thought it would be too pat for Linderman to be in charge of The Company, since he has his fingers in everyone else's lives. For those who guessed this (and I think some did a long time ago), go ahead and give us a great big I TOLD YOU SO.

I'm pretty sure I posted something on the Claire saving Peter thing, but I'm not so sure I was the *first* one. I'm sure someone said it first, but I was onboard with that one all along. Then again, I had speculated that Peter would die slowly without really realizing it, make it to his apartment, and then be found dead by Claude or the Haitian lol. Which also leaves the question - where's the Haitian?!
And as for Isaac sending the "paintings" off - I doubt they're so much paintings as they were the comic pages that he sent with the courier, but I'm guessing that they're not bound for the printing press
Nathan said that Peter's death wasnt suppose to happen like that! So if Ma Petrelli can see into the future, then she knows the future can change. However, the "spitting up bullets" may have been a 'typo' meaning that it is illogical for her to know that and not know that Peter could/would be saved.
Could someone please explain the conversation that Hiro and Ando had about the "brain man"? When Ando said "Im confused" I was too. I am assuming that "brain man" = Sylar, but he wasnt caught in Hiro's time, or if Hiro knows he was caught then he didnt know he escaped.
Also, was the timeline made by Sylar or Future Hiro? Was Sylar painting in Isaacs studio or elsewhere? Did anyone else notice that Present Hiro lowered his sword, but Future Hiro did not? Also, FH really did not seem happy to see himself... almost like he blamed himself for the whole mess!
Also... The explosion happens and we see what the future would be like. I am betting that by the end of the season, the explosion does not happen and Season Two shows the new future.
ando = for sure a traitor/future hiro doesnt like him/he works for the company or hiro's father...
future hiro goes "YOU!" and past hiro goes "me?" meaning its 99% for sure ANDO who future hiro is addressing.
was it just me, or did nathan keep basically saying "im only sad because peter died like this and not the explosion that helps me get into the white house." he seemed to say (alot i might add) "he wasnt supposed to die like this!" etc etc.."he was wrong!" and not just at that point later on...
sylar gaining isaac's power stops the bomb and/or kills sylar because ...thats what isaac's role is. he "gets to be a hero" by giving up his power to sylar.
OH YEA AND THE VOICE= ITS OWN INTRO THINGY. the person that does the voice (aka the scary one sylar uses once or twice) has its own CREDIT thingy in the beginning of the episode....this HAS To be a hint of things to come...right!?!

Hiro knew that Sylar had been caught, Isaac told him when they met (or on the phone...can't fully remember) waaaay back when. Hiro was concerned for Isaac, but Isaac said that the man who killed people (and him) had been captured.
