sorry, nothing against werewolves... but this show is out there... i know, but that theory, is really coming out of your ass... i HIGHLY DOUBT he just turned into a werewolf out of nowhere
I think Sylar has the virus and know he's going to try to find either Alejandro so he can take his brain and use his powers to suppress it, or try to kill Mohinder and use his blood to heal himself.
Just a random theory here, but I was thinking late last night how cool/weird it would be if somehow Sylar's existence became important to saving the world and/or protecting/saving Molly from "The Nightmare Man" (aka WTTBM/Mr. Parkman).
This stems from the fact that I think Sylar has contracted the virus, hence being unable to use his powers. Currently, the only known cure to that virus is Mohindir's blood. Mohindir cares for Molly, and would want to help her - especially if doing so was also an important part of saving the world.
So if somehow Sylar was important to saving/protecting her (or just saving the world from some other threat), then poor Mohindir might find himself in the unenviable position of curing (and re-powering) the man who killed his father, nailed Mohindir to his own ceiling, etc.
Honestly, right now I think Sylar's as broken as his watch is that he looks at when introducing himself to Maya.
Until he's able to figure out how to fix himself, I don't think he's going to burn any bridges with Alejandro or Maya, because they might be able to get him into places that he wouldn't be able to go himself. Namely into Mohinder's presence.
After all, Mohinder knows who and what Sylar is, and they still have a score to settle. I'd say that Sylar without his powers isn't even close to a match with Mohinder, since Mohinder was able to get the drop on Sylar even when he did have his abilities.
I'd say that Sylar, or Gabriel, is going to try to find a roundabout way to get information from Mohinder, and then try to use that information to his advantage.
Since Maya and Alejandro are headed to NYC, I think Sylar's going along for the ride just now, and hoping to find something under one of the rocks that those two turn over.

I love Sylar but man he creeps me out. When Maya told him that her brother wanted to "lose" Sylar I thought "oh silly girl born yesterday, you just signed your brother's death warrant by telling Sylar that.
Sylar is so complex and amazing to me. His psychology is fantastic. That scene where he accidentally kills mommy-dearest is so sad to me. Awww, poor Sylar just wanted to be normal and have his mother accept that, but instead, (man she was one WHACK job) she insisted he be special. Hence, all of Sylar's references throughout the episodes that he wants the powers in order to be special.
But let's face it. The man is a serial killer, a serious sociopath, one sadistic puppy. Even without the powers coming into his life, convoluting the issue, I really think his childhood was a breeding ground for the makings of a serial killer.
What do we know of his father, anyone? For him to have the amazing ability to absorb everyone's powers by (UGH) eating brains, wouldn't he have inherited the genetics from a birth parent? The only power his mom had was to annoy the crap out of me, ha!
What else about Sylar? Totally amazing actor. I love it that he can act so damn evil and a split second later he's got that "want a cookie"? innocent look on his face. That kills me every time. He's true to form as a serial killer because he really gets the psychology of other people, preying on their weakness. Maya wants to reject her power and here this guy is making her feel special for having it. Mohinder is looking for the power-people and Sylar says "here, let me help you".
You know what I would love? Oh this is evil. I would love for Sylar to fall in love with someone. Serial killers do fall in love with people. That's freaky. But I don't know if Kring can do love stories too well. So far Claire/West is nauseating me. Ooooo, maybe an older woman. I could try out for the part (jokes).
Well, thanks for reading my rant about Sylar. He's so great, I think he totally makes the show.

Sylar doesnt eat brains. He studies them. He takes them apart and learns how that person "ticks". He then alters his own genetic structure to compinsate for what he just learned.
Ah, of course, you're right Versen. Thank you. One of my sons told me that, but I forgot. For him to have the power to study a brain to that level and alter his own genetic make-up does anyone think he inherited his power from his dad and do we know anything about the dad?
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 7:13 pm Post subject: the ability to freeze stuff
If this was mentioned before, sorry, the Haitian wiped my memory.
When Sylar killed Molly's parents there heads were opened. Molly's dad was frozen. I think he got that ability from Mr. or Mrs. Walker and then used it on them. It seems most people with abilities had parents with abilities too.
Sylar's original power is intuitive aptitude — a superhuman ability to determine exactly how things work.
Sylar appears to have used his innate power to discover how to take the superpowers of other evolved humans. The exact mechanism by which Sylar gains these powers is not at present known; however, he believes that Chandra Suresh is correct that the abilities are based in the brain, and several of Sylar's victims have had their skulls opened and brains removed.
Acquired Powers
Sylar has acquired a number of powers. In order, Sylar has acquired:
* Telekinesis from Brian Davis. (Six Months Ago)
* Cryokinesis from an unknown victim. (First seen in Don't Look Back)
* Enhanced memory from Charlie Andrews. (Seven Minutes to Midnight)
* Liquefaction from Zane Taylor. (Run!)
* Enhanced hearing from Dale Smither. (Unexpected)
* Precognition from Isaac Mendez. (.07%)
* Induced radioactivity from Ted Sprague. (Landslide)

Cool powers and thanks for the summary of Sylar's powers

I'm pretty sure Sylar deosn't have this after Hiro changesd the timeline when he went back to save Charlie. Charlie I think ended up dying from a brain tumor.
Sylar would not have needed "the list" if he had this ability when he was with Mohinder in his apartment.
