"Don't Look Back" Episode: 7,Season: 1

Peter is reading to Charles, his patient. Charles compares himself to Peter, Peter makes him laugh. "In the end all that matters is love" says Charles. I love you Peter.

"I love you too Charles."

Peter opens the window. Tells Charles he can fly. Peter tells him to show him. Peter smirks and says "Alright, watch this." Looks at the open window. Moves towards it. The camera zooms around buildings...a doorbell sounds. Peter wakes up and answers, it's Simone. She looks upset - It's my dad. "I was just having a dream about him" says Peter. He passed away about an hour ago. She cries.

Doorbell rings. It's Claire. It's Zach, her friend with the camera. He says he found the tape. It mysteriously appeared back in his backpack. It's Mr Muggles big day, Claire is going to be babysitting her brother. Mrs. Bennett leaves with Mr Muggles. Claire's brother eats pizza and takes the tape from the backpack.

Nikki, on the floor. She wakes up - "Micah!" she's frantic, looking. Sees herself in the mirror. It's just her, no Jessica. "Help me," she says.

Commercial

Matt is with his wife. Things are good. He tells her there is something he has to tell her. She's insecure, he hears her thoughts. She thinks the problem is with her. He gets nervous and says he has to go to work.

Nikki is in her old house. Looking for something? Red-haired babysitter shows up. "What is it?" "Micha, DL came back. Took him"

Isaac's apartment - he's gone. Peter and Simone are there, he took all his paintings with him. Simone feels as if everyone is leaving her. Shows Peter a sketch Isaac did of her dad. Simone's dad told her that before he died he and Peter were flying, and that Peter told him everything would be okay. Simone says "Linderman." She sold the painting Peter needs to complete the mosaic to a guy names Linderman in Vegas.

Nathan Petrelli - choosing postcards for his campaign. His mother is scheduling a familia brunch - something's up. Nathan's wife is there, he says he will not use his family for political gain. His wife wants him to let her come forward and help is campaign. He's 4 points behind in the polls. She's in a wheelchair.

Matt - lockeroom at the precinct. Matt's partner knows something's up with him. Blonde FBI agent shows up - it's Sylar, he's killed again.

Claire - sees the tape is missing. Her brother is watching it. Sees her jump. They wrestle over the tape. Another video, one where she wrecks a car. "Amazing what you can do with special effects" she says. He staples her hand...it heals, the blood sucks back in. He looks shocked - so does she.

Commercial

Claire's brother is running like a madman. "Kyle!" Claire and Zach are chasing him. He locks himself in the car.

Robert Fresco, oncologist. Burned body on the table. Sylar's victim's are random she says. The body is putting out 1800 curies of radiation. A fingerprint was found on the body, seared in the bone like a brand. Matt says he is having trouble filtering the voices. Theodore Sprague - the fingerprint is a match.

DJ and Micah are in a car, driving. Micah is upset. "Heroes help people dad. They don't run away. You;re a bad guy dad."

Nikki and her friend. Nikki is taking about her dreams, thinking someone was following her. She says she would catch a reflection of another me. She has a name. "Jessica." Jessica comes out when someone tries to hurt her. "Part of me wants to let her do it."

Micah and DL. THere's a car wreck, DL gets out. Car is on fire. Someone trapped in the car. Ando and Hiro are behind DL. "He'll never get out in time" says Ando. Micah sees a flame trail, DL phase shifts and opens the car door. Hiro says no worry, I will help. The care explodes - Hiro stops time during the explosion. The effects in this scene are amazing. Hiro touches a floating tire in midair. "Why couldn't I have super strength too." He pushes DL and time resumes. DL and car passengers are safe, and so is Hiro. Micahs asks Dad what happened? DL says I don;t know. Hiro bows.

Commercial

Family brunch. She's adjusted well to the wheelchair. "How;s your husband? Wasn't he driving?" asks the reporter. Peter shows up, what's this? "Brunch, we always have brunch" his mother says forcefully. Peter tells Nathan Charles died today. Nathan's upset about Peter being special. Peter tells Nathan he wants the painting from Linderman, wants Nathan to call him. Nathan says no, Peter threatens to fly in front of the reporter. Peter joins the lunch.

Hiro & Micah looking at 9th Wonders comic. Micah wants to know where Hiro got it, that issue isn't out yet. Hiro explains to Micah that he can stop time. "Didn't you visit my mom?" Micah asks Ando. Ando called the police to help, DL and Micah split.

Claire and her brother. "I'm going to put this on YouTube and make a million bucks!" "YouTube is free you idiot" says Zach. Her brother says her is going to tell the parents. She says you can't, it will break up the family. "Please?" He rolls down the window and gives her the tape.

Matt and FBI Agent. Walking up to a house, no backup. She's not letting him get away this time. Matt's nervous. They enter the house, some thing is burning. Radiation levels are safe. Radiation spikes on the keyboard, burn marks are on it. Matt finds some photos - the faces are all distorted. A noise - weapons are drawn. A door with burn marks around the handle.. Matt throws the door open, everything in the room is warped. Radiation levels are off the chart, 1800 curies of radiation. "Come on, let's get out of here."

Commercial

Family brunch. Reporter asks about Linderman and his contributions, the security scare, and the blonde involved? Nathan looks uncomfortable. Peter says it is okay, tell him. Peter takes the fall and brings up his "mental issue" and the private clinic outside Vegas, and the female doctor. He's making this all up. It works.

FBI Agent and Matt. Janice is calling on the phone. Matt doesn't think this guys is Sylar. Matt found chemo in the house prescribed to a woman, they go to see the doctor who prescribed it. A man is in the room with the woman with cancer, it's Burning Hands man, He takes a nurse hostage, says he may take out the whole place like an atomic bomb. Matt tells him the woman wants him to stop. Burning Hands man let's go the nurse, she has radation burns on her arms. Matt tells him that his wife does not blame him for what happened. Matt hears her thoughts and tells BH Man what she is thinking. He calms...she dies.

Nikki on the phone. She tells Nathan she needs his help, DL took her son. Nathan says he can't help her. Nathan's wife rolls up, asks him if he still loves him. She says she knows what the chair means to them as a couple but she will walk again. She asks about what Peter said, "if you say that is what happened I will believe you." He tells her it is true.

Nikki throws the phone into the mirror. The symbol is on her back. She tells her friend she can go now. Jessica looks angry, very angry.

Commercial

Matt wants to know how BH Man could do that with his bare hands. "How can you read people's minds?" the agent asks him. Matt calls his wife, he feels like he's losing her. She is screening the call. Tells her he loves her on the machine.

Nathan on the phone with Linderman, plays the Peter mental card with Linderman to get the painting. Nathan goes to Peter's place. "You need to tell Heidi the truth." Peter asks if he spoke with Linderman. "This painting is the key." Nathan says his flight can't make a difference, he has no badge, no gun. Nathan tells Peter about the time HRG and MM tried to kidnap him. "How did you get away?" "I flew." Peter is dubious, Nathan says people would lock them away if they knew what they could do. "Be careful" Nathan says and leaves.

BH Man has a mark on his neck, so does Matt. Two small slashes. Matt's partner tells him that FBI has approved him to retake the detective's test. Matt hears his partner think "loser, I ams nailing your wife and she is so fine." Matt slugs him, the other officers break up the fight.

Mohinder is speaking. "You do not chose yourt destiny, it chooses you." Micah holds the phone, an out of order payphone. Micah holds the phone, strange noises and then the phone works and he calls Nikki. (He's the repairman!) He's talking to Jessica, tells her where he and his Dad are. DL grabs the payphone. "You talking to your mom?" "No, just goofing around." The phone is now dead, but she knows where he is.

What do you think is up with the 'new' tattoo? Can this be the way to differentiate the good and bad 'heros'?

I wonder how Matt is going to explain his behavior... But remember how his wife was so quick to assume he was cheating before? It makes sense, because cheaters tend to project their behavior on their partners.

you should add how at the end Micah doubted Jessica was his mom, then said "put my mom on the phone."

... what does Jessica need with a gun? I guess hand to hand combat could lead to DL phasing through her again, so better to kill him from a distance?

and, tee hee, spell check is all well and good but it won't know that "car" is not supposed to be spelled "care" lol

AMAZING production values on that car explosion freeze! It can't be easy to do these kinds of things on a TV budget.

I'm guessing the new tatoo isn't really new, but not the full tatoo that was there. It's only the two middle slashes. This represents the person losing thier ability possibly? Food for thought...

Wow another great episode! Seven episodes and all of them top notch!
my general feelings after viewing:

I was upset about Matts wife cheating on him.
I cried when claire told her brother she didnt want her parents to be upset they adopted her. How sweet and geniune was that?

I also think that nathan had a hand in whatever happen with this wife to get her in that chair. His wife seems manipulative as his mother.

I like peter even more now.

What happen to issac? Seems so out of character.

That radio active guy i assume is not skler. I could see him being the bomb he seems very unstable.

From the preview, it looks like Issac is in rehab. Makes sense, but will he still be able to use his powers? I guess he would the heroin probably just frees up his mind and makes it easier to use his ability.

I read on another site that Issac does not need drugs to create the paintings, and that his paintings are not absolute. Episode 8 will show this. Also, Claire's brother probably will not rat her out. If so, why give back the tape spin

What a great episode!!
I have to say I love Peter even more now! At the beginning he was so timid and scared but now...well, the way he called Nathan's bluff at lunch and took the fall for him with the whole Vegas incident was brilliant!! Now Nathan owes him. He really has found his courage andhis calling! Nathan just better help him get that painting!!

I like the idea of the markings on Matt and the new guy being a way to tell the different types of hereos apart...good and bad...good theory...guess we will see!

And Micah is so smart! I love him....I thought it was great how he knew that wasn't his mom on the phone. I just wonder how long Jessica has been around and how long Micah has known about her.

I'm really starting to think HRG is not a bad guy. From the previews last night it almost sounded like he was pleading with someone to not hurt Claire cause she is his daughter. Almost like he was trying to get them to not hurt her....if we only knew who he worked for!!

I have always like Peter, and he just continues to amuse me. Mikah makes me nervous - he knows way to much and tells even less. I don't think radioactive man is bad, I think he's confused about what's happening to him. His concern was that if they shot him THEN he might blow up - not that he would blow them up.

Anyone else think that these shows are just too short? Give me more!!!!!

I haven't gotten into a show like this since The X-Files.
It seems every show has something to offer! It's not standard TV fare by a long shot!
And the production values also remind me of TXF, where each show was like a mini-movie.
Anybody know how many shows are going to be in the first season?
...gosh, I hope they can keep this up. That won't be easy! I wil have to try to be forgiving and see what they can do instead of what I think they should do.
It's like a music band .. no two albums are the same. We just have trust in their creativity and courage not to do the same CD over and over again. XD
