i didn't read the spoiler until after seeing the show but it was thompson and not linderman . also when claire is walking outta the burning house and she is beginning to regenerate , her perm also seemed to be regenerating ...i think ...kinda funny
I was amazed at how flame retardent her bra was. I think we should start making body suits out of that stuff for firmen and incase of nuclear holocaust!!

I agree, my first thought when she walked out was, "Well, I guess that's why they call it a wonderbra."

moved to season 1 forum now that episode has aired.
Wow. This episode kept you on the edge of your seat. So much information was given but so many new questions were exposed. How is Hiro's father involved. So I guess his fathre knows he has powers? Strange. Also HRG turning out to be semi good is awsome. Hopefully he will remain on the show and we can observe how mind wiping affects him.
Great show. I found myself just glued to the couch.

her hair was totally coming back! i noticed that too! her charred hair came back as lush golden locks! you know you want to do your hair just like hers and take pictures. so go ahead!
I was completely blown away by the fact that HRG spoke Japanese and that Hiro's father gave Claire to him to raise until (unless) she demonstrated powers. I wonder where he is in the hierarchy of Primatech Paper and how it is related to the Japanese company. Does this mean that the genetic mutations were first noticed in Japan (because of the nuclear bombing of Nagasaki & Hiroshima)
Also, who is the man Eric Roberts is playing and what are his intentions now towards Parkman and Ted? This was such an awesome episode but I am left with so many more questions
By the way, did anybody receive an email from Primatech on Tuesday morning?
I really admired the fact that HRG wanted the Hatian to wipe his mind. I mean, he knows it can screw with your brain (like his wife's case) and he did it anyway.
Very good episode! I really liked how they stuck with ONE story for the entire time. It was beginning to piss me off how they would show you something really cool, like Peter flying off, and then cut to someone else's story. They need to start structuring episodes like this more often.
It would be cool of they structured the episodes like this:
[epiA] A bit of everyone's story
[epiB]50% of one story, 50% of another
[epiC] Same as B
{epiD] Just one story for the whole time
That way, each month contains a more engaging Heroes package, instead of 30 seconds of everything.

So, Invisi-Man sustains several shots and doesn't die? Damn HRG, always doing what he's told.
I think we can safely assume that HRG doesn't have any powers, except the one of looking like a horrible man - but only being a semi-horrible family man.
Where is Claire going? Obviously the Haitian is going with her, but where is this crack team of healer+mindwiper heading to? Is part of their mission to break Matt out by some loophole left by HRG?
So what is up with Matt being stuck on that table? Did HRG turn on him? Or is this more of his double agent game?
Mr Thomson(?) is really an idiot, it seems. This bothers me somewhat, most other characters are a bit deeper than him... but perhaps he will be fleshed out in the future. He most definitely will if HRG continues to play a role.
Shooting Sprague = nuclear holocaust in 10-15 min. Why? Because he is in pain and gets pissed? Killing him softly doesn't lead to a meltdown?
Is the family going to be mindwiped, now that Thompson knows that they know stuff? One more might end up crashing Claire's mom...
Maybe, MAYBE, Thompson's comments to HRG over Matt on the table are an indicator that Matt and HRG will be partners now.... but where does that leave the Haitian?

I think they are out to find a hidden team of supers possibly including Claude or started by Claude.

Ummm he was caught as was Ted by the company. That was why Thompson was there and if HRG had betrayed Thompson, then he would have been killed. HRG might have saved Matt's life because w/o the Haitian they cant mindwipe anymore, so they may have wanted to kill him.

Partially the part about him being pissed but also that he cant keep the radiation in him. He is unable to contain it when in pain or near death. Claire didnt kill him, she just "knocked him out."

I posted this elsewhere and now that he synopsis is up I thought Id ask again... Did anyone else get the impression that the first time HRG shot Claude it seemed like an accident? Like the gun went off on accident and then HRG was like "well might as well finish the job."
i've watched that scene a bajillion times...yes, the first shot is an accident, or a hiro somewhere using THEIR power...the point is, until that first shot, im pretty sure HRG wasnt sure what he was going to do. After that first shot....he was like "fruck it, i already shot him once"
