Well, I figured it was about time I posted this. I'd have put it up earlier but work, school, and illnesses got in the way (damn cold *shaks fist*).

Hmm, how to start this...

I'll start out by saying that I'm a die hard Heroes fan. I've watched each episode at least 5 times (or in the instance of episode 21, a whopping 15 times). I own an official Heroes shirt and hat from the NBC online store. I first got into Heroes when my friend Matt told me how awesome the first episode was. As soon as I saw it I was hooked. It is by far my fave show. I definitely think this show is gonna go places, and be a big hit, even bigger than it already is. Also, Tim Kring is a genius.

Now, the hard part (pun only partially intended).

Some of you from this board already know me. I used to visit here under the username Sylars_Sidekick.

I have some explaining and apologizing to do though.

As some of you know, I claimed to have a friend that worked on the show and had provided me with a spoiler clip and spoiler pics from season 2. I did that thinking it would make me popular on the board, and boy did that ever not work. You see, when I said that, my plan was that I was going to make a Heroes power discovery spoof video (similar to that of Claire's from episode 1) for my video production class and then photoshop an image of myself runnning to make it look like I had the power of super speed. It seemed like a good idea to do, but other projects provided unfortunate interruptions so those things were never done. When the members of the forums found me out to actually not have a friend working on the show and began mocking me for it, I became hostile and said and did some things I regret, and for those things I am truly sorry.

Now, if you've read all of that I want to thank-you for taking your time to do so. I put a lot of thought into it. I'd like to apologize to all of those who I offended under my other username. I hope you can learn to forgive me for what I did. I also hope that you will all allow me to make a fresh start under this username.

When all is said and done
this is just a board about a fun television show
that everyone here likes and enjoys talking about.
It's kind of silly for anyone
to have any hurt feelings
or personal angst over past events
that are really not all that important
in the scheme of things.
I say welcome back
be yourself
and make good posts
about the show we all like.

Welcome back to the board DestinedForGreatness! No harm no foul.... although I never really understood what that means, but I know one should say it in situations like this, right?

Anyway, this community has the VERY best people and we're glad to have the "real" you as a part of it. There are a ton of Heroes forums out there, and I'm honored that such a die-hard fan as yourself wants to be a part of SuperHiro.org. And as ZoneDancer said, noone takes themselves too seriously here, we all agree to disagree, and most of all we're here to have fun and discuss Heroes!

Ok, well since it took me this long to realize you and S_S are one in the same, and I've already grown to like you on the Spoilers board, then I'll say welcome back, and glad you're being honest! Very Happy

Welcome back, and I really do hope you are yourself this time. I mean, I try not to hold a grudge, but some of the things you did before under the alias of S_S were quite inappropriate.

I'll not judge a book by it's cover, though, and just give a hearty welcome back!
