What's the deal with the save the cheerleader save the world thing? Is this just because of her powers of regeneration or what? What a mind job that is. And the autopsy scene i thought was bit hokee and i love this show. It could've been done at least as good as CSI but hey I frigin love this NBC HD channel. Especially that one part of episode 4. You know what scene I'm talkin about. Very Happy

Better be a season 2 NBC.!

People people, all that happens is that
1.killed and #*($(said she was naked so i assume)
then 2. the is on the autopbsty and the lady pulls out the stick and leaves( was it just me that heard a phone ring?OMG) then the rest happens, she revives herself (baby jesus!)[/quote]
I am watching the episdoe on the site right now, yes, the phone rang. She was definatly doing an autopsy but, Claire is a Jane Doe at this point so, I don't think her powers or death will be discovered, of course I am still wathcing it though.

This was one freaky episode, my husband was hollering all the way thru it. He gets queezy easy.

did any of you guys watch the episode?

well this is how it goes down, the star qb tries to rape her, she gets restless and is dropped on a stick, that impales her skull..."killing her"

next we see her on the atopsy table being slit open,

she is "dead" the woman next says "jane doe, found naked in the river at 4am" therefore the nurse does not know who she is, there is no name, and no clothing (no cheerleading outfit this time)

she[nurse] removes the stick from her skull and places it in the bowl, you see her skull begin to heal,

then there is a phone ringing outside of the room,

the nurse leaves to answer

claire wakes up, and sees her body, folds the skin together which heals and she climbs up and out...

shes goes home and sneaks in, changes and hides her scars, she does not notice that her legs are covered with dirt, her parents and brother do however, but they find that she is weird in the first place

the dad [unknown - skylar?] has seen the tape of her suicide attempts and knows that she is "gifted" but brushes it aside hoping that it is just cowinicidence

i hope this clears it up for you guys, im not sure about my theory involving claire and her father
