In this GN, we see Agent Sabine Hazel talking with HRG in the holding cells of the company.

She talks with him in trying to figure out a way to get the REAL Julen Dumont out of his holding cell.

HRG admits to her that the system isn't perfect, and trying to get him out COULD kill him.

He also warns her that the man in the cell ISN'T the man she's in love with or knew.

Accepting that, Sabine removes him from the cell, and all the countless memories of his clones comes rushing back. Meanwhile, the other clones go insane. Bleeding off the trauma of countless lives (and countless deaths) onto the other clones, Julien makes his escape with Sabine from the bowels of the company.

Following clues from Evs Dropper, they make their way to the parking garage, where Julien makes one last effort, and creates another clone to distract their followers while they get away in a car.

As Sabine follows Evs Dropper's directions, their tire is shot out from under them, and they plunge off a bridge.

Begging to be taken with Julien, she sits in the back of the car and asks if the ones who have taken them are Evs Dropper.

The person in the passenger seat turns, and Julien answers her with a "Not exactly.."

I LOvED this GN.

Great suspense, great story, great cliffhanger, nearly reminded me of watching the show!

Now, if they could only get this idea through to the rest of the GN series, then we'd have one heck of a GN and TV show to deal with!

I can't wait to see how they resolve this. Quite a twist and turn of events, wouldn't you say?

I agree. This was a good novel. I really wasn't expecting to see one of Julien's clones in the passenger seat. I wonder...does Julien's clone explain Evs Dropper's knowledge of the Company, or did Evs Dropper recruit Julien's clone? (Which came first, the chicken or the egg? lol

)

I love having HRG back in the story, however passive he might be. I found myself wishing that he himself was Evs Dropper...but it doesn't look like that's the case.

Hopefully next week's GN keeps along with the storyline, cuz it's getting good!

The biggest question shuffling through my head right now is "Is Evs Dropper working FOR HRG, or WITH HRG? Or is HRG even in the picture as far as Evs Dropper is concerned?"

Anyway, I don't know exactly how HRG figures into all of this, but I DO know that he's been around some of the weird stuff that's been happening in the company, and it wouldn't surprise me much if he had some kind of hand in what's been taking place...

I don't know if it's Mohinder, Matt, some reincarnated form of Drucker or Hana, Brian, or someone we haven't even met yet!

But I do know that this whole storyline is getting pretty good.. Near show-worthy after this last GN! yeah

Yeah I liked this GN as well. I think the story is a little confusing though with all the Julian clones. I have no idea who Evsdropper is, but like you guys have said HRG seems to be around when alot of stuff goes down.

It's probably Mohinder working with HRG methinks. They both worked for the company but HRG has more inside company knowledge stuff. Just a theory. And Hana might still be a live in some form, being used by them.....

Meh.

I'll bite on an idea that has been nagging at me, though....

What if it's Drucker?

I mean, it wouldn't be the first time someone has faked a death in order to trap and capture another subversive operative, now has it?

Drucker, working for the company, makes contact with Hana, they get into a situation where Drucker has preventative measures in place, where Hana doesn't.

Drucker gets his "backup" copy made, and survives, and Hana is eliminated.

Solves a problem, and the company is happy once again.

But Drucker's conscience is eating away at him, and he's trying to focus the blame on someone else, while maintaining his subversive elements.

Knowing that Hana was the contact for HRG, Drucker simply slides into that role, accepting the information that Noah is feeding him, and using it to turn agent against agent inside the company walls...

PERFECT! Twisted Evil
