In this GN, we see Sean Fallon talking with Gael.

Gael praises Sean in his ability to take down a special. Sean insists that the loss wasn't acceptable.

Gael authorizes Sean to form a new group specifically aimed at being able to take down specials without someone with powers helping them.

Sean agrees, and forms his group.

Gael warns him that the members need to know how to keep quiet.

Seans first recruit: Lloyd Collins.

Ex-Navy, never finished SEAL training, and wound up as a sheriff in a small Texas town until Sylar came through and started cutting heads open. When he asked too many questions, he was drugged and put into confinement at Primatech.

Recruit #2: Joseph Gallagher.

After serving four years in Iraq, Joe comes home to a dead family. Sister is buried, brother-in-law dead in New York. Life insurance payout gives him a comfortable lifestyle, but no answers to their deaths. Revenge is his motive.
Learning who to go after for the deaths of Ted and Karen are his driving motivation.

Recruit #3: A man named Drakes.

After getting him drunk, the man agrees to the job. As long as there's enough alcohol for him, he's willing to do the job.

Next we see Gael talking with Sean. After looking over the profiles of the men Sean's selected, he questions whether these men will be able to be an "elite" unit.
Sean assures Gael that not only will they be Elite, but they'll be good at their job as well.

Gael shows Sean his first job.

Brendan Lewis is still alive, even after being shot through by Sean.

Heavily sedated and restrained, he's being held by the company. Gael directs Sean to transport Lewis to Guyana.

In Guyana, one of the locals manifested, and blew a crater large enough to be seen from the air. The company wants the site covered up before anyone with satellite capability can see the damage.

Sean and his team are sent in with Lewis and Paulette Hawkins.

Paulette is an augmenter who was put into confinement when she got in the way of her daughter-in-law and Linderman's plans. (Niki and Linderman.. keeps getting better and better!) Gael informs Sean that Paulette is to be protected, and returned swiftly.

The team preps Lewis, and Sean informs Paulette to augment his ability 100%. Paulette balks, saying that it would kill Lewis. Sean tells her that she doesn't know that for sure, and that by doing it, she'd help save thousands of lives. She agrees, but only because she is promised that she'll be able to see her grandson.

Sean lies to her, and agrees.

Paulette augments Brendan's ability, and he immediately grows a small forest of plants and trees around the crater site.

Gael calls just as the job is done, asking about the operation. Sean replies that the job is done, but that Paulette escaped. After saying those words, he has Joe put a single bullet between Paulette's eyes.

Sean explains that people with powers keep talking about how they're going to help the planet, but all he sees are them killing more and more folks with no abilities. He and his team are going to be there to put things right.

They're not going to stop until all of them are dead.

Interesting GN! I don't know if they really need another rogue organization in the company right yet, since they still haven't completely explained the EvsDropper plot, but who am I to argue??

One side is looking to bring down the company from within. Another is just looking to subvert any and all actions taken by the company (HRG and Mohinder)

Now we've got a rogue unit that is hell-bent on killing anything and everything with an ability that manifests.

Things are going to get really dicey pretty quickly, no? Surprised

It's about time that the "normals" begin to feel threatened. I would have expected that much earlier.

You need to change the title to this Chapter to # 95.

I liked how this team got put together. I wonder if we'll see them on the show.

Hell yeah we're gonna see 'em. These humans will present a whole new dimension to the show. As of now it's been specials vs specials with the aid of a couple humans that "understand" the situation.

This new group of renegades off'n specials will be the group that do NOT "understand" the specials. This I imagine will incorporate Noah more since he is a savage, intelligent and brave human willing to put his life on the line for a special of his own. It only makes sense since HRG's character seems to have a huge fan following.

In any event this GN was decent only b/c it developed a whole new part of the show in a single GN. HOWEVER (and I know this bugs some of you blogaholics but since the normal regulars are a bit slow on setting up a new forum for the latest GN I shall comment on it)

IT WAS DOOOOOPE! One powerful special that didn't give a F about anyone but himself and his girl takes out a group of agents but gets taken down by a deaf special? Awesome. I bet you money the deaf guy who can absorb all sound can still hear b/c the absorbtion of the sound can still translate to his brain without any auditory stimulation.

Anyway I'm excited to see if they put the Mailman in the show. He'd be awfully good at whoopin Sylars ass since he's got super sensitive hearing! Anyway... Only like a month til Heroes debuts after a loooong hiatus. I am geekin here. I look forward to these boards lightin up a bit more once the show starts back up.

I loved this Graphic Novel. The introduction of some seriously new characters! The guy that can "Absorb all sound". Here is a NEW THEORY!

If Echo can create sound and even manipulate energy back into sound, then shouldn't this guy that can absorb sound also be able to absorb all types of energy upon "conversion"? (The same process that Echo used to deflect Elles electrical discharge!)
