Thompson and some cronies tried to take down a mole, only to kill a fellow agent.

The real mole, Evsdropper, is still at large, and working hard at creating chaos.

Taken from active duty,Donna's partner, Thompson Jr., shows her the face of a traitor. They look into a holding cell, and she looks down on Noah Bennet! Noah tells Donna that he tried to warn her about running away, and she didn't, bad move on her part. Donna doesn't recall meeting him.

Thompson tells Donna that Noah killed his father, and that these are the type of folks they're hunting. Once they're caught, they'll rot in a cell just like Bennet.

Donna knows that if Thompson finds out she's the mole, he'll kill her.

Upset over the whole scenario, Donna runs to the roof of the building, and tries to calm herself down.

One way is to use her power, and gaze at people in flight. They don't know they're being looked upon from someone two thousand feet below them.

Evsdropper calls. She tells him that she wants out, but Evsdropper tells Donna that there's no getting out of this without taking down the company.

Furious, Donna hurls the phone away from her and off the roof.

Donna throws herself into her forensic work, determined to find the killer. Things just don't add up. Files are missing, reports are gone, evidence is nowhere to be found.

Then, while returning to her desk, a cell phone and paper bag are found sitting on her desk. The phone is the one she threw off the roof. The bag? It contains the bullet possibly used to kill Cushing.

Donna has the bullet analyzed. It matches.. Thompson's gun!

Donna takes the evidence bag and file and brings it to Thompson's office.

Throwing down the file and evidence, she confronts him about her findings.

Thinking he's going to make a move, she tenses, only to find him lift a second evidence bag from his desk drawer. He then tells her that Evsdropper is the one using the company to kill off their own agents.

After this discussion, Thompson puts Donna back on active duty, and returns her to being his partner.

After the events in Thompson's office, Donna makes a call, and tells Evsdropper that she's still in, but they're going to be doing things her way next time...

This GN was more of a filler GN to me. Not quite as good as they have been the past few weeks, but I understand you can't always be climatic. One thing about Heroes is that the lines of who is good and bad are so blurred you can't tell who is good/evil. I liked the end where Donna said she was doing it her way now! That could be interesting.

Kind of bizarre ending. How is she going to make evs dropper do it "her way"? She doesn't know who Evs is, and apparently no one else does either.
