Straczinsky had a guaranteed five seasons, that is why it took him 4+ years to finally get someone to make Babylon 5. His contracts were worded such that to NOT complete the 5 seasons would be a major contract breach resulting in a double-the-cost loss for whatever studio reneged. It's in his bio in "rising stars". What he did was unheard of, TELLING the studio how many seasons there would be, & not the other way around.

Did you like it? Personally, I thought it was ok, if a bit predictable. I didn't completely buy Lt. Kendra Shaw and her story, but at least you can say, her character wasn't one-dimensional.

And how about them old Cylons, huh? "By your command!" indeed! Yatta!
