I don't think they've ever said her ability was taken. I get the impression it's kind of like what Maury did to Matt and Nathan; she's sort of "locked up" in her own mind. Difference is, she's smart enough and knows enough of the players involved to know it. Matter of fact, i bet it was Maury did it to her, seeing as how it happened b4 his somewhat disputed death.

If he didn't take it why did he say " you can see the future angela, we can't have that" then touch her? When matt or molly were locked in their own heads their eyes were closed as if they were sleepin.
Everyone said before that she had a sleep paralasys type thing because her ability was taken while she was using it, or is this theory dead in the water now? Lol

We don't know for sure what happened. It's all been speculation, but it's definitely possible that Angela was just dreaming that Arthur removed her power, and it was really something else that caused her current state of paralysis.

Another possibility, though, is that Arthur gave Sylar the dream to get him to come to Pinehearst. He did say he'd been waiting for him a long time, after all.
