I'm planning on buying some land in Missouri (approx 204 acres 30-40 miles from Branson) from a family member and I wanted to get some input on a project that I want to start, a "future-village". The idea behind the community will be to create "environmental impact neutral" housing that is as self-sufficient as possible while still maintaining a high, modern standard of living (no dirty hippie-style fecal matter huts or any of that kooky nonsense!). I was inspired by something I had seen a blurb of on TV about the "dancing rabbit"(?) village on a show called "30 days", now I personally believe Morgan Spurlock is a sensationalist, attention-grabbing, junk-science-using turd and that most of the people in that village were smoking most of their "crops", but that doesn't really change the fact that Americans have to stop acting like "r"-tards & start "doing things" instead of "bitchin' about things". E-mail campaigns and other non-sacrifice-involving "slacktivism" won't get the job done, actions will; so I've decided to put MY money where my mouth is, what do ya'all think? Is Gimpy McGimps-a-lot insane?

P.S. Dancing Rabbit is in Missouri as well.

You might want to look into what's called a cob building.
