I think that it is safe to say that whatever Angela's power is- She has most likely mastered it. Also- in season 2, we are now seeing some duplicate powers (with the older individuals having better mastery and range over the powers).
This being said-- what if Angela has a more advanced version of a power we have already seen?
Maybe similar to that of Molly Walker?
Molly can locate and almost mentally go there when she thinks about a hero (A to B). A more advanced version of this could explain a number of things for Angela and really allow her to know a lot of things. It also allows future Angela find Peter in NY faster. The only thing I can think of that doesn't make sense is her thinking Peter is dead after the explosion (unless this is what she wanted Nathan to think after the company took care of him and Peter).
Good thought.....however, I think I'm leaning more towards the memory empath theory that has been discussed. This would make sense as, she has always had the ability to know just about everything, about everyone. Which leads me more towards believing the memory empath theory. Plus, I dont think that she could've spent that entire year pretending that Peter was dead. I know she's cold, but we all know that Nathan was her "Golden Child" and we all saw what loosing Peter, did to Nathan. But, definitely a good theory to keep in mind!
She may seem to know alot, but i don't think she knows about everyone. She may have known about Matt, just by knowing Maury. Maury may have known Matt would have the abilities, and left because he was threatened my Matt's potential. As for Angela knowing so much, so did many of the older generation of heroes. Claude, Linderman, Simone's dad, and even non-powered heroes like HRG and Mohinder's dad all seemed to know more about what was going on than the current generation. Regarding duplicated powers in different generations we have now seen flight, regeneration, and mind control repeated. It is unclear if there is a pattern that determines what power if any a child recieves from parents with powers. I don't think she has the power of persuasion, like Eden or else Claire would have obeyed her. Maybe she can tell when a person has a power, what makes them...tick! like Sylar.

I think that you're partially right, when she met Matt, she already knew Maury and what his abilities were, so she had a pretty good idea of what Matt's power could be. But, just because someone's parent has one ability, doesn't mean that there child will have the same ability. Look at Claire/Nathan/and Meredith (Claires mom) NONE of them have the same, or even similar abilities! And Angela, has always known more about everyone, than anyone else did! "I knew before either one of you knew". That's what she said to Peter and Nathan, when Sylar killed Peter, and Claire had pulled the glass out of Peter's head, which brought him back to life! And I also agree-partially-that more than likely, she does not have the power of persuasion, like Eden. We have been discussing for about a week now, that we think Angela's ability is to sense others abilities, and perhaps a "memory empathy" or something of that nature.

I think that we were right, when we were saying that she has some type of empath/psychic ability and she uses this ability by touching people! Did you see how when she was talking to Heidi, she kept touching her arm, and they kept emphasizing the fact that she was touching Heidi's arm, and while that was happening, she was saying, "I know that Nathan told you that he can fly, and he probably told you that there was a conspiracy to blow up NYC". But she was saying all of this while she was touching Heidi, and then she was telling her (basically) to leave and not believe in what Nathan was telling her. And, Heidi did exactly what she told her! SO-I'm thinking that we were right, to begin with, Angela is an empath, and does use her power while touching people, and she does have some type of persuasion ability! I THINK!
I agree on her ability being some sort of persuasion/influencing ability. I thought though that she didn't start touching her arm until she was trying to convince her to keep it all a secret, which makes sense as that would be what she was persuading Heidi to do.
Yeah, that's the point I was trying to make! I'm really surprised no one else has been on here yet, to talk about this! Last night when I saw how they kept doing the shots of her touching Heidis arm, and then the way Heidi kind of looked like she was in a trance, when she shook her head yes to agree to keep it a secret, I was just kind of like, "So we WERE right?!!" I really like Angela, but I'm still not sure if she is good or evil? She's kind of like Mr.Bennett, she does a lot of things that aren't what you could exactly say as good.....but a lot of the things she does, are really with the best intentions! She does love her family, but she will do WHATEVER it takes, to make sure they are taken care of! I know this isn't the right thread to be in, but what's up with Elle always wanting to do the little shock thing with Peter? Does that build up there power, or is it some type of thing, that makes them feel good, it kind of looked a little sexual??
I agree Karin! They made it a point last night to show Angela touching her! Something is up! I'm not sure exactly what her ability is but I think they are giving us some hints for sure.
Well it looks like im in the same boat of the Persuasion Power Believers.
See I am also, BUT-she knows SO much about people/and or there powers.....so I'm in a weird predicament, because I think she has persuasion, and some type of ability to where she knows what people's powers are. Well now we know that if you have an ability to read minds, that you can also control others minds and senses, so maybe she can persuade people, and she can also know what they can do? I don't know how to put into words what I'm thinking......do you understand what I'm trying to say?
I was thinking the persuasion as well until I got thinking about last season. If she could use that, then why not use it on Nathan and let NY go boom. She kept on touching him like at the window when claire jumped out. She even said you can't let this stop you. But nope he still does what he wants and is not persuaded. Perhaps if she does have it then Love really is a nullifier to all power.
