Here's a mother who has taught her son never to use his flying abilities out of fear.... I am glad we haven't seen what her power is yet. Even if it is something big and obvious, she isn't going to use it where anyone will see...

I like the idea that it is something you'd have to be very smart to figure out how to use to your advantage.. Perhaps she doesn't breathe? Perhaps she can speak to fish.

Excellent point. It is hard to see peter exhibit it however. Seems like it'll be a harder power to accidentely use.

If she knew so much and had so much to do with planning the events of the (almost) future and she was one of the original 12 along with Matt's dad, she probably knew what Matt could do already. She did mention she had done some terrible things, so what is her power?

I think that Angela's powers are something mental. For awhile I was even thinking that she has the power of persuasion. If you think about it, her boys do EVERYTHING (basically) that she tells them to do! And she's had some pretty crazy ideas. Also, I was thinking that maybe she has some type of invisibility, because she knows SO much, about SO many different people, it's almost like she has been a "Fly on the wall" if ya know what I mean. I cant wait to see what her powers are! Wink

I think it would be cool if she was a mimic like Peter. Then Claude's line "Oh, you're one of them." would have significant meaning.

Thought I would move it over here from the theories discussion. (I would rather post it here and link to it in the other one, but I can't edit there.)

She may have the ability to recognize those with abilities and to know what those abilities are and how they can be used. I've always had the feeling that all roads go through Angela Petrelli and I haven't been able to figure out why. I also can't figure out why Peter had visions of the future prior to meeting Deveaux, so I've always thought that was Angela's ability. She also said she could do what another hero on the show could do, but she could just get from point A to point B faster. I initially took that to mean that she was like Issac, but could just see the future rather than having to paint it. Now, I am beginning to wonder if she is like Sylar or Peter in that she can know and understand the abilities of others, but can do it faster than Sylar (has to open them up to see) or Peter (has to learn to control the ability). At any rate, she may have been the one who taught the original 12 how to maximize their abilities because she could see their true potential before they could. It would also explain how she has known about Peter and Nathan longer than they have and how she knew Parkman was in her head and could make him hear what she wanted him to.

I agree with you somewhat, I do think she has some ability to know what others powers are, and to know the full potential of those abilities. But, I think it's like Matt's abilities, more than Peters, or Sylars. I think that she has mental abilities, such as reading minds, and controlling minds, like Maury and as of last night, Matt! I dont understand what you were talking about, when you said Peter had a power before he had met Mr. Devaux? Peter has known Mr. Devaux throughout the entire show. Remember he was his nurse, and his mother actually was out on the balcony talking with him, when Peter was talking with Simone. And we saw that happen, when Peter was in the dream sequence, in S1. After last nights episode, I am actually liking Mrs.Petrili! I havent been able to stand her, since we met her. But it seems like she is actually an ok person. Does anyone else think it's strange that when Peter was in March 2008, Angela was still alive, but over 93% of the worlds population had died? Even Nathan had died, but yet she was still alive?!! Confused

Do you think that has a deeper meaning? I can NOT WAIT until next week!! SO MANY of our questions will be answered, and many more questions will be raised! Very Happy

AGAIN, I have to agree with you! I'm disappointed that there aren't many people on here chatting about last nights episode. I am starting to question Mr.Bennett's motives? I have always felt that he truly loves Claire, but here lately it seems like he IS evil! Do you feel the same? I think he has done some horrible things, and I could almost understand, that you would do anything possible to keep your child safe. But, when you just keep killing people, it starts to get a little crazy! I'm thinking that he also has a power?! What do you think about that? When he was in Ukraine, visiting his "Old Friend"....the Russian was standing there talking to his wife, and child/grandchild, and once they walked out the door, it seemed like Mr.B and the Haitian, just APPEARED out of no where! Maybe the Haitian did that? How does Nikki still have her super strength, without Jessica? I don't understand that! That makes me think that Nikki/Jessica are still a "couple".

I don't think HRG has a power to be honest. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see any evidence of that so far in the series. I do agree he has a very dark side, but we've been led to believe it's for "the greater good!". I'm not sure about Niki/Jessica, that would seem to be better discussed in her thread, but I would say she has strength, but doesn't use it in the wrong way unless Jessica is in control.

i think she can make people remeber stuff. cause when Peter was in the Future, she was trying to get him to remember her and it worked.

I think it was of Peter having the eidetic memory kick in. Not sure if she somehow jumpstarted that though.
