It really is a pretty long video to watch... Can you summarize the relevant portions to these discussions? Thanks!
And once again, welcome!
Thanks Hercules... We did cover a lot from whether or not she has a power, is dieing, (no real spoilers to worry about) also she talked about the crew of Heroes, what it's like being a guest star versus a regular... Lets see, she also talked about how her career started, other shows she has appeared on, like Friends and Star Trek TNG... I'd say you can save yourself about some time by forward past the first 10 or fifteen minutes as we talked about non- heroes stuff first but then got into Heroes with my questions and question sent in by fans of the show. It's a good watch (or listen while your surfing the net). Hope you guys check it out.
We're hoping to get more Heroe stars on in the future.
I've watched to about 42 minutes right now! Pretty cool. Are you the interviewer?
Yep that's me... and if I had a power it would be the light I reflect off my shaven head!
RE; the length of the show... we usually don't go that long but for guests like Crisitne where we get a lot of fan questions emailed to us in advance and then live instant messages during the show... we like to answer a bit more then usual, also cover what the guest is known for (in this case Heroes) and take a few minutes to cover other areas's of the guest's experience.
Now I'm really curious what her ability is! What was with the crazy music and film angle when Nathan wheeled her out of the hospital last night? I was trying to see if they were showing us something, but I never caught anything.

Ok... First post ever... please go easy on me.
Had an interesting thought when I watched "Kindness of Strangers"....
When Angela was confessing to the murder of Kaito it was very obvious she was lying...
Matt's partner/boss was very quick to accept what clearly was a lie from Angela as the truth.... but what I noticed was when she was speaking her voice took on an interesting quality... Like she was doing something "powerful"...
I think her power is kinda like Eden's power.... Eden would tell you to do something and you "Just did it".... Well Angela tells you a lie.... and you believe it.... no matter how outrageous or unbelievable.... and that led me to another idea....
Ok follow me on this.....
Nathan flies down picks up Peter and flies into the stratosphere and we see an explosion.... Somehow Peter ends up in Ireland.... but Nathan ends up in the hospital... all burned up from radiation and whatever.... (kinda like he looks in the mirror).... Naturally there is a press conference held.... and Angela Petrelli gets up and LIES....
"Nathan is fine. He appears normal. He has suffered no burns or scars or whatever. He'll be in the hospital for a while but he has suffered no lasting effects"
So EVERYONE has to believe the lie. This is why Nathan looks fine to everyone... even US!!! But when Nathan sees himself in the mirror he sees what he truly looks like....
Yeah I know.... It's just a theory for Ms. Petrelli's power and the thing with Nathan is a theory based on a theory.... But it makes you wonder...
How many lies has Angela gotten away with..... Her husbands death.... the bomb being a good thing.... and so on and so on...
So Angela would have a power of "suggestion," similar to Eden's power of "persuasion." The idea resembles what some people had speculated about Angela making an illusion for Nathan, but somehow your description feels better to me.
The big problem I see with this is that whenever Nathan meets someone who hasn't heard his mother's press conference, they should see his real appearance. (The small problem is that the beard really can't be an illusion - Angela probably would have given him one that looked better, and it didn't look like Nathan had to get her to tell people it was gone - and I'm not sure how good a beard he could have grown with that much scarring.)
If Angela was that powerful, then why the need for stuff like the bomb plot, or fear that they would be discovered?
You could manipulate the entire planet into believing there was peace on earth, or hold a press conference every time someone suspected mutants and tell them it wasn't true ...etc.
I think any inflection in voice was purely for dramatic effect -> to get across the gravity of the fact that she would rather be charged with murder than have people look any closer into what's going on.
Nathan and Claire didn't believe half of what she told them.
I honestly don't know what to think with Angela.
The fact that, as his mother, she is pretty ingrained in Peter's thoughts would have led us to believe:
A. She has a duplicate ability, something we THINK Peter got from someone else.
B. Has a really powerful, but innocuous ability, like weather control. Something where, even if Peter did access it a little accidentally, we might not have even noticed (angry storm outside when he is trapped in the crate?).
Actually that type of ability wouldn't be very useful in sitautions like where Angela was up in Nathan's office with Nathan and Claire in the finale. There was no one else around, you would assume if she had a power that would allow her to keep Nathan and Claire with her she would have used it (the plan was important to her).
On a related note: It may not be Angela .. but I'm surprised we haven't seen a weather control hero/villain yet. It is one of the more common abilities in myth, folklore, comics, etc ... kind of a staple.
Something she said is standing out to me. She said to Nathan that she had done many "bad things" over the years, and what did it matter what crime she was punished for because she was ultimately guitly (I'm paraphrasing here). Wonder what these "bad" things are? Is she talking about how she has raised her children, or is she talking about stuff she has done that we don't know about yet? I'm leaning toward the latter. As far as her power being a persausive one, that's certainly a possibility.
I don't think the power of persuasion makes sense for many many reasons. It has a lot of holes. One, as pointed out, why wouldn't you convince the whole planet of something....
Go back to the original spoiler about Angela: "She could move from Point A to Point B with little effort" or something like that....That's our clue.

Back in season 1, I thought she had the ability to see the future through dreams, and that she is the person who gave Peter this ability. In that context, she could move from point A to point B faster than, say, Isaac, who had to paint his visions.
