Well we did suspect it, and now it's official: twas from Angela that Peter got the dreams that started him down his powered path. Honestly though, I'm not convinced that this is all there is to her.... and does her comment imply that her (presumably) late husband had no power?

I do not think she has multiple powers.... but I can be convinced otherwise. Is that what you're saying Stoney?

I'm satisfied that Angela's power is dreaming the future. I won't be too surprised if she has another one. But a lot of Angela's power is not exactly a "super" power. She sure looked like she knows how to take charge and make big decisions. She's also nasty and ruthless, but that's a somewhat different skill. And as I lose patience with Peter's foolishness, I start to enjoy watching his mom read him the riot act.

I too think there is more to Angela Petrelli's power than meets the eye. We'll just have to wait and see. I've put out several theories in spoiler sections, but it looks like some of the traits exhibited by Peter in past episodes were actually that of Charles Deveaux.

Having said that, Angela HAS TO HAVE some other 'evolution' of her abilities. Think of it this way.... Matt reading minds evolves into Maury Parkman's ability, and then what? Do you thin that Angela's precog ability simply remains the same. It most definitely involves mental/dreamlike pathways. What are dreams but mere "mental thoughts" created by individuals subconscious? Something to chew on.... Food for THOUGHT if you will ! ! !

Here's my thought. Charles said he dreamed of peter flying. Because of that alot of people think charles had a power too. What if, its not charles who has the power, but angela's power manifesting through peter. I still think she can share her "preminissions" with other people via touch. If that is indeed true, then wouldnt peter be able to do the same, even if he's not aware what he's doing?

There's still the issue of when Charles talks to Peter during a vision of the past during the first Season though, he definitely seems to have had a power.

Well, last week's episode showed that there DEFINITELY is more to Angela's ability than just future dreaming. It'd also make sense that it was how Peter was able to go back and forth both to speak to Charles in the S1 finale and see himself and Caitlin in the future.

No Herc, I wasn't trying to say that Angela has more than one power. What I'm saying is that there's more to that ability than just her dreaming the future.

I would think Charles DeVeaux's ability is being able to transport someone (even in the future) to his present location. But I suspect the limitation to this is that it is their unconscious mind, so it's more of a mental link. I think when Peter collapsed before it, it was induced by Charles ability to bring Peter's "mind" to him.
The only thing in my mind that disputes that is that Charles says initially "invisibility, always thought that'd be a good one to have" - implying that Peter may be there physically but invisible. I also think this may have been the ability Arthur used to enter Angela's dream precognition.
