what if " SAVE THE CHEERLEADER SAVE THE WORLD " is a two part quest

first you have to save the cheerleader then save the world. not simply if you save the cheerleader you will save the world.

I keep getting the "if you build it they will come" in my head everytime i hear it. lol

Could be. But i think its more exciting if they had to save the cheerleader to save the world. It could mean that the cheerleader was the only way for all of them to meet. So maybe you are right.

entirely possible that they must have the cheerleader in their group to later save the world.

It could definately be taken that way but to me it seems the way Future Hiro said it...made it seem like if you save the cheerleader, you save the world type of thing
